Does the word "embargo" not mean anything to you?

It's been said over and over that they're being asked to WITHOLD information until the tour is over...so that EVERY news outlet releases the same information at the same time to their respective regions.

But I guess the cool thing to do is bitch for the sake of bitching now rite?

I hope a lot of people showed up - looks like they did a fantastic job on everything and I know it took a lot of hard work^^

I should imagine that the media outlets have been asked to restrict the information until the media tour has concluded so that nothing gets leaked ahead of schedule. In a few days there will likely be a simultaneous update.

An embargo period of a few days also stops people rushing stories to the printing press. It should result in some higher quality journalism.

Back on my side of the country.

I'm hard at work getting as much info as I can crammed into these articles (yes there will be more than one). One of the benefits of Gamer Escape (while we do have some general gaming news coverage) is being more focused on titles such as FFXIV. Because we're all players like you, we know the little things to ask and look for as opposed to being more broad or generic. Rest assured that we'll have some details you won't find anywhere else ;) These will be posted towards the end of next week.
