Lately, on my server, the crafting IIs are actually worth more than the IIIs! I think it's a case of people not actually checking the price of the IIIs when they buy IIs, combined with increased supply for IIIs from people farming for IVs, but the IIs have been slightly more than the IIIs for some time now.

For people who have gil to burn, you could argue that IIs have a better meld chance than IIIs so they could be preferred. I know I have so many IIIs that I just use them as IIs and Is, personally.

Also, out of curiosity, is the table of items in the OP likely to be updated with the final items?

Thats some detailed photoshop work right there, and I love it! Too bad we'll never see this in game... at least not until they raise the ship capacities :(

Sector 22 drops giant iron cores, if no one has said so yet.

Is it necessary to fix components before sending the airship even when you know some will break?

So sector 22 is the furthest anyone has been, or have people been to 23/24 but just not said how?

Nope - you only can't send out ships when a component is at 0% - if its even at 1%+ you can send it out and get another trip done ^^
