Occurrence: On and off but most of the time. Connection also drops and reconnects 6 to 7 times a day

Issue manifests lag for 1-5 seconds every 5-15 seconds. During the lag, all players and monsters stand still but I am able to move around and continue trying to cast spells or interact with objects. This is especially noticeable in dungeons.
EDIT: This issue only started occurring since last update.

I've been playing the game through a VPN for about a week now to circumvent the slideshow.

Occurance: Pretty much every 30 mins to an hour or less when playing at any point during the day, suddenly the game will slow down and lag, then be stuck for a few mins, continue as normal, then start again 30 mins later, didn't start happening until after the Sept 4th Patch

Occurance: particularly in any city, fate, or dungeon. Game stutters and lags badly for a minute or two, game will proceed (sluggier and slower than previously) and will probably stutter and lag badly when rejoining populated areas or when FATE mobs spawn.
Was working perfectly before the update last week. Every phase of beta had nowhere near this kind of lag spike...it's very noticeable.
