I was doing Void Ark and facepulled the last boss cause as I was auto-running, my cat decided to jump onto my lap. Needless to say, 1-2 people got locked out and no one got mad when I explained what happened in alliance chat. #catownerproblems

PotD level 50 with PLD (me) SCH, DRG and NIN. The healer is new but good, the 2 DPS suck other than the NIN knows how to hide and steal chests. The DRG is flat out awful. We get to the boss and I feel it's neccesary to prompt them to use Pomander of Lust. "Remember one of us should use lust guys" is the exact phrase I used. All I get back is a smart arse answer about remember to use steel and not die, ironic really as the only two people to KO so far were in fact the DPS when they decided to go and have a look see at a group of mobs while me and the healer duo'd the 3 we were already fighting.
Predictable outcome, nobody uses lust and the DPS manage to step in all the AoE's resulting in a wipe at <10%
FML
Haha, that seems familiar ;)
Most of my mess-ups or quick-afks are in some shape or form cat related, and no one is ever mad when I explain. I feel like FFXIV is such a catlovers game..I know exactly one dog owner, literally everyone else owns a minimum of 2-5 cats. So everyone can relate, I guess x)
Can I just say, I'm all for stance dancing and play style variety, but when you can't keep aggro and your HP drops faster than Raubahn can throw Teledji, please, I beg you, stay in your tanking stance.
Story of my life as a healer in Aery this morning.
So just finished a Gubal Library normal via leveling roulette. All level 60 except for the tank who was 59 and wearing level 57 gear. Tank had some issues here and there but nothing to the point I'd warrent as bad. After all you can't get mad at a tank who just can't hold hate against max geared people but is trying. We get to the 2nd boss and I see a vote kick pop for her by the healer, I ask why and vote no. Doesn't matter she gets kicked. The response was "Struggling".
It ticked me off but at the same time she had just invited her Tank friend to join, ticking them off is just going to get me kicked as well and wait times are still a bit of a pain as DPS. Overall in the end? The healer was the cause of the wipe at the first boss, at about 80% MP and couldn't manage MP well, died during the 2nd boss by running into the wind and got them self killed during the final boss. Was sure to let them know that they had no right to kick someone for "struggling" and left. To add, her friend Tank (DRK) wasn't any better either.
57 gear isn't bad if he's only 59. Most of my jobs went from 50-60 in full ironworks. It's really not worth upgrading it unless you get a random loot drop from a dungeon. Think my warrior got a marginally better than ironworks axe in the vault for example.
However Vote kicks often annoy me. Too many go through for no real reason.
I queued 60 with a friend so his tank would speed up my ninja queue and he got kicked after the first boss of Hullbreaker hard cos he couldn't keep hate on the coueul that tethers the healer......
The other dps said it was a stupid reason but he must have clicked yes for the kick to go through...
Refreshing change of pace though. had 3 sprouts finish titan hard in trials roulette cos everyone else was dumb and fell off (including me....) Go Sprouts!
