Missing Genders: A request for Male Miqote, Female Highlander, and Female Roegadyn

I remember when the picture was released. Someone mentioned it was probably a "Taru with hair ribbons." Similar to the pigtails hairstyle in the Lalafell Female Character Creation.

I'd agree, the sketch isn't the best depiction of a female Miqote but, remember, this is concept art. It is not meant to be elaborate, precise or horribly detailed at this point. It's simply created to give a visual depiction while working on the final product.

As far as why the original artist did not give the Miqote a more feminine face? Well, I can't answer that. I can say he also didn't do a very good job sketching the character on the far-left side of this concept piece become some players, in this thread, mistook it as a female earlier on. It's concept art, it's a rough idea, so some things change. The designers probably agreed with most of you when they got to the final edit and decided to soften the look of her face. I'd love to see male Miqotes that look like this but I don't believe that was the original artist's intention.

I'll give it one final attempt; judge it for yourselves.

I had the strangest dreams last night. O.o
It was a mix of Aion and FFXIV..

There was a war going on and...
Elyos, Miqo'te, Midlander Hyurs, Elezen, fighting against Asmodian, Roegadyn, Lalafell and Highlanders. (Who knows why the Highlanders were fighting against the Midlanders .. >.> ) Dreams are weird.. All the missing genders were there fighting too. lol

Then I kept having dreams where Yoshida-san came on the forums here and answered us directly, but not with a definite yes or no. XD Just vagueness. That dream just kept repeating. o.O
