It being silly, in itself, is an opinion. I've witnessed plenty of it myself across numerous servers and, while I don't play anymore, I can safely say that claiming it doesn't happen is nothing short of fallacy. Not that EVERYONE does it, but even a few people here and there is still annoying and detracting.

As far as emote spamming goes: yeah, it happens. Happened in XI too. But it doesn't involve people playing hopscotch down to Camp Tranquil. Nothing as intrusive as that.

Issachar has a perfectly good reason to worry. People get bored. You said so yourself, Rawry, that you see a lot of /emote strolling around through the chat logs. If people are so bored that they'll slap up /emote then what makes you think they wouldn't do the same with jump? Please in your next post though, try and refrain from pulling away from the subject by interjecting scornful remarks to make yourself seem more elaborate.

Mkay.. so here we go again. You take what I say and spin it like the desperate gnat you are. Did I say people don't jump? No sir.. I said people don't Spam jump....as in stand there and jump up and down for hours or even minutes on end. Id much rather people "jump spam" then clog up my chat window with emotes and bullshit. the fact that you're trying to make it something its not is laughable. Do you even know what your point is? or are ya just here to cry?

Mkay so.. 3 ppl jumping while walking is spam jumping? Cool. The way you people are talking, you're making it seem like 500 ppl just stand there and randomly jump which is crap.

If that is your worry, then I recommend that you make use of the Emote filter option. Anyways, trying to debate with you is akin to striking up a conversation with a wet cardboard box. Anything I say is met with dampered, predictable responses.

Wow. You know you're rather pathetic right now. How the hell did I spin it, moron? We're not talking about people spamming jump, idiot. We're talking about people jumping out of boredom and how seeing it makes it rather annoying. Now before you try and go off on this post, do me a favor and stop thinking of yourself for a minute. Here's a suggestion when it comes to your /emote problem. There are chat logs you can filter out that doesn't show them. I guess if you didn't complain about it as much you would notice.

Can you tell me how I can filter out seeing people jumping while I'm running to town? You know simply I don't give a hoot about implementing jump. Frankly if you'd pay close enough attention, numbnuts, you'll notice that the only thing I have against jump is the simple lack of depth it has in adding more exploration to the game. It can be used to scale small hills, yes, and jump small gaps. Anything else? No.

Now are you still going to post about how it should be implemented with some logical points of view? Or are you going to contradict yourself by doing exactly what you're saying I'm doing?

Thank you! I can throw twenty opinions as to why it still should only be installed as a Collision Detection Model, and these people still say the same crap without any rebuttal arguments. Then when I get pissed off over the childish behavior, I'm the one who's scorned because I slapped a bad child? Come on....
