Same problem. I like Veena but those Rava eyebrows are so on fleek.

Yeah, but the point is that it's in our eyes. The argument about not being able to change built-in body parts doesn't hold up. It's just a limitation in the amount of items available to Jandelaine.

Or maybe Eorza has light-up magitek contact lenses. In which case, I dunno, Allagan something-or-other.

thats one point ! those eyebrows ! :(
and the skin tone too (for me) even if i take the lightest rava skin tone, it doesnt fit with the light hair colour i usually choose.
well even if it is normal for viera to have a dark tanned skin and light hair, it doesnt fit in my eyes

If I go back to character creation one more time, I will go crazy lol. I'm leaning more towards Veena though, just because I agree with you on skin tone and how lighter hair colours don't look quite right on Rava. And oddly, I think I like Veena eyes more even though they're more "dull". Plus, seems like the majority of people are going Rava. So I'll feel a little more unique.

its the same with miqote races, most ppl prefer the sun race, moon are still unique. i'll overthink this also some days but i feel with you.

If it helps you two decide between them.

The primary differences between the two in terms of faces, are the Eyes and eyebrows.

The Rava have 'brighter' eyes, and smaller pupils, while the Veena have larger pupils but darker-shaded eyes (you can still get 'light' colored eyes, but their not as florescent so-to-speak)

And the Brows are a bit easier to notice, Rava have longer eyebrows, while the Veena have shorter, more angular, ones.

I personally went with Veena cause i wanted the more 'angular' look as i felt it was more 'bunny-like' than the more human-with-ears look of the Rava. Just wish i could get eyes as bright on the Veena :D

This is the main reason I'm going with Rava. Bright eyes are important to me, which is why I currently play a Sunseeker Miqo! I don't care which is more popular or not, I have to go with the one I like best. :)
