P.S. some fighting mechanics would be nice too. Does not have to take big damage...

Consider this my signature. FFVI, or FFIII as it was for the SNES was one of my favorites! The airship theme is definitely carried on from the Red Wings/Baron theme from IV, and I think that the Magitek armor needs it's own as well. A collection of music from all the games should be implemented, because all of those games are what makes this one great. It's a celebration of the franchise history.

woot hopefully its the grand theme from FFVI, something to bring back the ole memories of magitek armor and its origin.

Since we're on the subject of music, let's also return some of the Uematsu songs back into the game? I don't understand why I have to listen to a single battle theme the majority of the game when Uematsu personally wrote a huge suite of them... The new music is great, but hey so was the old music penned by the guy whom I associate with Final Fantasy more than any other person, I want to hear all of it and more.

Searching for Friends is a nice pick since it was an overworld theme, as that's essentially where it would be playing in XIV. (In the outdoors\world) It also kinda would mesh well with the current music of the game. Devil's Lab would be harder to do I think, that is to say more difficult to remix in a way that isn't obviously out of place with the rest of the soundtrack, not to say I don't like it as an option though.

I will definitely attach my name to this! And I agree with the general trend of either Terra's Theme or Devil's Lab. (I must admit, I feel Devil's is a bit closer to the theme, but a rendition of Terra's Theme is wayyyyyyyyy too hard to pass up) /signed

As much as I like Terra and her theme, I think Devil's Lab is the vastly superior choice for riding around in magitek armor.

I thought the Magitek promo video version of Terra's theme was going to be the theme for the mount. I was saddened when it was not.

terra's theme, yes! plzplz~ "searching for friends" would be cool traveling music too, but maybe for another mount (personal airship mount pleeeeeeeeeeease :Q <3 doesn't have to be modeled after the falcon, or even the blackjack :) would be awesome no matter what)

Yes! we do like to see similar things happen to other mounts as well if possible.

That song always gives me goosebumps. FFVI was probably the series grand opus. It got overshadowed by, what I consider, the "new breed" of FF fan that got brought in with the glitzy FMVs and such of FFVII and beyond.. But, the substance of story, gameplay and magnitude of drama has just not been replicated since VI.

That song that plays as the Magitech Armor approaches Narshe elicits this "buckle your seatbelt" reaction I seem to only get from picking up a fantasy novel the likes of LoTR or David Eddings Sparhawk saga. The word, "majesty" comes to mind as well.

Back when video game music was just all beep beep bloop BEEP bloop beep beep, he made music that sounds as if it would have come from a modern day console. He's legendary among gamers for a damn good reason after all.
