QUEUE is Failing / Error 1017

I tried to login for over three hours now....

Did get a couple of "you are fifth in the queue"... but reverted to insta1017.

I did manage to get onto Ragnorok though after a few tries.

I got disconnected and now I'm getting the 1017..

If they implemented a afk auto kick for people that haven't moved in 30mins then there would be so many less people. I've seen people standing in one spot for 6hrs because they went to bed and don't wanna have to fight logging back in. Instead of being retarded and overly restricting the server just kick people who aren't actually playing.. and if the server is full then it should que you not tell you to try again when a spot is open.... we can't tell when a spot is open.

Legacy toon on excalibur, for both my husband abd I and he can't even get on to play him. This shit better get better soon!

im so sick of this shit, hell the only reason i had to log out was a ui glitch after zoneing and my spot wasent held on the server for 20 damn seconds. i have been 1017ed for the past 4 hours that includes getting into q's of 5 people only to get 1017ed again multiple damn times.

More nearly 48 hrs and still cannot play this game. So SE do you like to take money for items you can't provide often? What an absolute disgrace. SE should be ashamed of this, they are a joke. Unreal.

So when will i EVER be able to play SE?

I'm not one to complain about this kind of thing... however, if the solution is just to cap the server population without a queue and never kick people off for going AFK, it just reeks of extremely poor planning and management.

I have maybe an hour that I'm able to play tonight (aka right now) and I'm getting 1017 as well:

I can log into a character on malboro(NA) just fine and Anima(JP) as well.

4 hours getting 1017 then finally queued and got in to game, then after about 5 seconds error 90k message and back to world full message no queue...

Been unable to log in since 4pm PDT Sunday, got booted after I started the quest before the "Bowl of Embers" Ifrit fight.

Same thing. Excalibur has given me a 1017 for the past 2 days straight. Hope they don't expect me to pay if i can't play :(

If you guys are going to limit login then at least have the common courtesy to give us an actually queue and auto disconnect for AFKers. Please fix it tonight before the real problems start tomorrow.

P.S. Buy more servers please.

Blame the AFKers, i see so many of them AFK in town for hours.

Ashenn Shugar, Excalibur; same for me, direct to 1017 error no que, got in last night ( Australian time ) for 2 hours, done the RIGHT thing and logged out when I went to sleep, so many ppl afk, no wonder world is full, really I can understand why you would not want to log out considering login issues, but this is only causing issues for other ppl, I would hazard a guess that 30% + of currently logged in people are afk and have been for hours, SE please fix this or at least offer us world transfer, we want this game, but also we want to be able to play it.

I think they forgot to tell us that logging was a Mini Game, you have to beat the Log In screen before you can actually play the rest of the game. Unfortunately you have about as much chance of beating the Log In as you do of winning the lottery while being struck by lightning as a shark bites you...in Arizona.

Game crashed, and now I'm unfortunatly back in the error 1017 I had all week end. :( /cry

To be honest here, both Phase 3 and 4 and the same issues, but not everyone was having them.

Btw, they are doing this testing so they dont HAVE to buy more servers. They limited the amount of players per server intentionally to isolate some of the issues. And yes, an auto D/C for players who have been AFK for more than 10 - 15 min would be nice. They would do that if they were smart considering they need people to PLAY to help isolate these issues. I have been D/C a few times when AFK for 5 - 10 min. Not sure how or why though.

they really really need to fix this. Wasting an hour trying to get into the world is infinitely more frustrating than spending an hour in queue. At least in a queue you can do something else while you wait.

pay for a game that, since early access started, have been able to play for only 2 hours..
