Why labeling yourselves? If you want to be treated as a normal person regardless of your sexual preference you won't achieve it by using LGBT label. I play for fun not to show others my busness.

More importantly, what do you care what the LBGT community does? They can do whatever they want, and I doubt they would go to such extents if there was nothing wrong with the experience of the open community and trying to be "yourself" on a un-filtered environment.
Thanks for posting this Mhaeric. Fortunately, I haven't had any issues with the FC i got picked up by at the start, but if I do, it's good to know that I have places to go. I'm too old to put up with infantile bigotry in my leisure time. I don't see anything listed for Exodus. Hopefully, I will never need to look for one or if the need arises one will exist by then.
You can add Poetic Justice of Hyperion to the list. We have a strict policy of non-discrimination that goes with the moral compass that the company follows.

To add to that, if anyone has any questions feel free to look me up~
So a fellow fc member tould me about this post so is like to add paradox [dox] of midgardsormr (na) to the list of fc that are lgbt friendly! Site is paradoxx.guildwork.com
Because the label was given by heterosexuals to segregate and marginalize those who identify LGBT, so the LGBT community took the negative terms, appropriated them into a positive identity, and now use the terms to signal inclusive community instead of exclusive marginalization. It's too late for silence through assimilation; it's certainly too late with a population that was told to be silent while being turned into moral bogeymen.
Wonderlust is a LGBT FC and Linkshell on Lamia server. We are currently preparing for coil. We are a fun, social, and open FC/LS. Please IM or mail in-game to Varick Dalran if interested.
Lamia represent! :)
Chocobo Knights of Sargatanas is LGBT friendly: http://cklegacy.enjin.com/
CK is a casual PvE based progression Free Company. Member goals are to progress and help others progress. All players are welcome regardless of skill or character development. We are anti-toxic and only tolerate positive progression.
Is there any FCs here on this list that use text to communicate? I'm not big on using a headset while playing and on the ps3 that's not even a possibility for me. Seen some of the discussions here and it seems like it's self-evident why LGBT people do want to group up. We're here to enjoy the game on our free time and to have fun like everyone else.
Not everyone wants to deal with "THE DISCUSSION" 24/7. Whether you have or even don't have an issue with me and my partner is really something I don't see interesting enough to talk about every day. That's bs I have to deal with in real life all the time. Sorry I just endured one of these situations in a discussion where I was audibly compared to the "normal people" and had to explain 3 times why it's hurtful language before he got it.

Almost tempted to form something.
Gnome Gnews Gnetwork on Brynhildr (http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...0149208164593/) is run by a lesbian, and is respectful of all sexual orientations and gender presentations. We're a friendly / social linkshell, welcoming to anyone of any skill level who will at least occasionally chat with us. Contact Lyra Shieldmaid or C'mell Cordwainer to join.
If there's enough call for it, I might create a G+ community for the linkshell as well.
Still nothing in Coeurl T_T?
Hello Seif, I run a Social FC that solely focuses on text based communication. We dont use voip of any kind for multiple reason. We have strong rules to make our free company inclusive to all users. Be it LGBT, Straight, or even Asexual, We are founded on idea that everyone deserves kindness and respect and intolerance of any kind is not to be accepted.
I am glad to see such great FC on this thread. I felt that I had to introduce myself after seeing such positivity. Hello, My name is Rena :3 I am GM of the social FC Orange Pekoe on the Faerie server. As like many other GMs in this thread I promote kindness and understanding between all players of Eorzea. I hope to see this thread grow with time and hopefully this kindness spreads to everyone in time.
GM: Rena Kisaragi
FC: Orange Pekoe
Server: Faerie
Website: http://ffxivrealm.com/threads/orange...friendly.4624/ ((we typically use Lodestone forums to communicate))
There are very few LGBT FCs on Exodus and we are recruiting!
"Bears of Exodus" is an LGBT Free Company for social, casual, and committed FFXIV players. We are very friendly group from the bear scene, but we are open to all people! We like to help each other get through the tough parts of the game and we are not hardcore-aggressive (except to monsters). Please join us! Send a Tell to "Petros Ailuropoda".

We also have a fun Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/247798995293329/ where we talk about our Final Fantasy experiences.
Additionally, our LGBT community Linkshell is "BearFacedGB", and ideal if you already belong to another FC. If you're interested in this, send a Tell to "Miklos Tahara", "Angra Mainyu", or "Petros Ailuropoda" with your add request.

Hey guys :)
I run an FC on Adamantoise, we're currently about 80% LGBT and 20% straight allies :) We're a casual, friendly group that enjoys each other's company while getting sh*t done.
Our FC is "Lunatic Pandora", if you're interested send me a tell ingame!
Dragon's Nite on Coeurl is LGBT friendly and just friendly in general. The other leaders and I pride ourselves on being fair to all, no matter who you are or where you come from. Your life choices are your own and as a female part of the LGBT community myself, I do my best to make sure the environment in our FC is safe and welcoming. We take all people of good character, new and experienced players and offer placement in community end game groups as well as help and assistance for any new players that may require it.
If you enjoy Making the community as a whole, a friendlier, more fun place, then Dragon's Nite may be the place for you.
EVERYONE deserves a place they feel welcomed... everyone.
I actually may be transferring to a different server (currently on Gilgamesh with alt character and poor guy's just soloing for now). Are there any guilds that like to do dungeons together, build up camaraderie, help each other progress through the story, and are quite social?
I have yet to come across a situation where sexual preference is the concern of the party/raid/FC. I didn't think about people being gay in game, until this post. Far as I know, there aren't any anti-friendly LGBT FC/LS. I've never been in a party and thought, man that BLM dps is low; bet he's gay. I just think this alienates your community. If people started making race friendly FC/ls, I would find that odd too. Just my two cents, to each their own.
They're needed because of that awkward silence followed by crude comments and rude questions when you make a casual reference to your same-sex partner. They're needed because you might finally talk in vent (something that, for many trans people, takes an incredible amount of courage) and your voice doesn't match the gender you identify as, only to receive endless grief for it. They're needed because though there are no "anti-LGBT" FCs out there that I've seen, there are a lot of very intolerant people, and no one should feel as though they have to hide a part of themselves from their online family (which, for so many, is quite often their only family), as though one tiny slip could bring down upon them a rain of harassment. They're needed because so many suffer greatly and uniquely, and it helps to have an FC that is open and receptive and caring about and, most of all, understanding of those problems.
LGBT-friendly and safespace guilds are needed for all of these reasons and more.
Everything you stated, I don't know how someone could function in everyday life if that's what they're afraid of. That being said, everyone is entitled to play how they like and with who they like. Self segregating yourselves, you guys keep people who normally would never encounter a LGBT person in rl from meeting them in game. Which could change their perception of your community. I myself didn't grow up in an open minded household, it took me meeting lots people of different walks of life to become as open minded and accepting of people as I am. Okay, I am done derailing this thread......as you were.
Why do you think the LGBT suicide rate is so high, especially among young adults? Perhaps if one of those young adults can find a community in this game where they can identify with the people and feel safe, it will be just what they need to prevent them from self harm. It's not about being exclusive. It's about finding a community where you don't have to worry about running into that one other player who is intolerant. And trust me, there are plenty out there.
Prism is a LGBT guild on the Leviathan server. We are a large guild focused on creating a fun, friendly, and inviting community. We have players of every type: casual, hard-core, crafters, PVE etc. Our guild chat and Teamspeak are active at all times of day. http://lgbtprism.guildwork.com/

Would like to add a new Linkshell/Free Company to that list:
Fail Brigade of Hyperion! We weren't really going for the LGBT theme, it just kinda happened, lol. Needless to say, we're all accepting and open.
A lot of us are involved in end-game, too. Everyone is always up for helping~ Lowbie dungeons, relics, raids of all levels, etc.
"Casually Hardcore"

If any of you are interested, you can contact any of the following:
Ryuhkin Naringo, Refyll Yioa, Teras Elexion, or myself, Ranulf Squires.
My guild is also lgbt friendly, but we're not an lgbt guild. I really don't get this. I'm female, queer and I have many queer and otherwise lgbt members of all genders, am I a lgbt fc? Aren't most? I'm confused, does one just have to not be hostile to lgbt to be considered a part of this list? If not, what criteria is necessary to qualify?
Perfect example, don't many FCs have this just "kinda happen" when they find out half their members, are indeed lgbt and they never thought about it because, well, why should they? I don't get how sexual preference even comes into the topic. Are these dating fcs meant for social/romantic/sexual interaction? If not, how does any nonbigoted FC, open to all, fail to part of this listing?
I'm openly bisexual, and lead a FC on Coeurl, Tonberry Assassins, or <STAB!> for short. We have several members who are LGBT, and I don't let members discriminate. You all asked for a Coeurl FC, and I will step up to that spot if noone else wants to. We have several partner FCs in a LS we all host, a voice server, and straight as well as gay couples who all just want to enjoy the game together. Feel free to add me to the list if you would like, I will welcome anyone who is seeking somewhere to be social and make lasting friendships while having fun. Still somewhat small amount of us around, usually between 6-10 on during EST noon to midnight.
Fantastic compendium you have going here! I just applied to the Spectrum Guard, myself. But if that doesn't work out for whatever reason, at least I know I have options elsewhere!
It's awesome to see a post about LGBT groups on FFXIV. I seriously love this.
To this end, I've been toying with the idea of starting a Free Company on Malboro. It would be LGBTQA/Poly/Kink/Feminist/sex positive group. If there's enough interest for something like this on Malboro, I would be willing to start up a free company.
As it stands Calinora Modena, Nesshin'na Kasai and myself have a linkshell that would be open for LGBTQA/Poly/Kink/Feminist/sex positive/whatever called "Blackjack n Hooqers". If anyone is on Malboro and interested in joining this LS, ping any of us and we'll add ya. Also, feel free to PM here if you're interested in that kind of FC on Malboro.
http://eternaldawnff.enjin.com/home we are in saragantas and we help provide a comfortable atmosphere for everyone regardless of what walks of life you come from
Hey there,
My boyfriend and I founded a guild on the Ragnarok (EU Legacy) server called "Bara Legion <Bara>" http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...3573225256152/
It's an LGBT friendly guild. We're very small and new but always looking for new members/friends.
We are a very casual guild but we do enjoy the occasional dungeon/trial run and are happy to help others.
If you feel like joining, feel free to message either myself (Mordecai Bloodhoof) or Momo Bloodhoof.
(If we can be added to the list, that would be great, see you in Eorzea!)
