Once ARR is released, will you be doing more player polls to get the pulse of the community on certain features?

Will 'Phoenix Down' ever become a purchasable Resurrection item? I always hated the company purchased item, doesnt sound cool at all. All Final Fantasy Fans would be happy if it became Phoenix Down :).

Will there ever be crafter 'specialization', where people make the choice on their characters which craft they want to truely excel at, and be able to create better equipment and special materials with?

As the system is designed around being able to play almost all content on one character, specifically not having to create a whole new character and start from scratch to play a different class, I think this idea of locking out certain classes past a certain point goes very much against the spirit of the game.

However, I'd support the idea of challenging progression to master a craft, such as a difficult quest line based around the craft(s) of choice (no combat or other non crafting related activities required) would fit well and put a gateway before advanced crafting that not everyone would pass on every class, thus resulting in something similar to what you're talking about there.

So, my question is:
Is there any chance of difficult crafting quests, focused on crafting, to really test higher level crafters and unlock more advanced crafting opportunities/techniques?

And as an afterthought:
The same question for gatherers?

Will the appearance of Grand Company gear have more variation between them?

Serious question I joke around about ALOT...

Will there be otters in ARR?

Will we see anything similar to ZNMs, BCNMs, KCNMs, or KSNMs in FFXIV: ARR?

Since we will be able to eventually fight on Chocobos (or so I heard), I also remember either on the FFXIV: ARR website, or in a past live letter, seeing some concept art of Chocobos in armor according to jobs. There was a Chocobo in DRG armor as well as WHM armor. Can you tell us a little more about this?

Are any other new jobs besides Summoner that are confirmed for release?? I never saw a clear answer to this question i will re ask it maybe other players will answer it for me but will PC and PS3 players be allowed on the same servers??

Can you explain how Jobs will become more distinct from Classes in ARR compared to Version 1?

And badgers! I'd love to see more wildlife representative of lore [e.g. the Red Otter and the Blue Badger], both as minions and as part of the scenery in cities and other zones.

I know we have marmots now, but they just don't hop the same!

With so much work being put into housing like stables, trophies and um baths *^.^* will we be seeing workshops and usable kitchens in there to? being able to craft in your own home would be something I'd love to see, maybe even have a XP or HQ bonus for using them?

Can you explain why we need Classes and Jobs, would it not be easier to simply have one or the other and allow either Classes or Jobs to wield multiple weapon types?

Will there still be 1 battle theme for each zone like in FFXIV 1.0?

In FFXIV 1.xx we could obtain Sanction from our Grand Company. Will this be in ARR? Will it be different? If so, how will it differ?

Is it possible to show a sneak peak of the Gilgamesh 3D model?

Are there plans for content that is more dynamic and random? Content that has the same layout and objectives every time gets dull and redundant fast when you know exactly what to do every time.

Is Yosuke Matsuda probably taking over SE going to jeopardize Yoshi-P's control of releasing ARR? What's his experience with the gaming industry, as the CFO of SE Holdings how are the consumers to actually expect the quality of games to improve instead of just targeting what will raise Stock values?

Is it possible to backup the patch files in ARR?

Given that legacy and standard account holders will be able to create up to 8 characters per server does the development team have any plans for meaningfully levelling up alternative characters such as family legacy systems for example?

We have repeatable quests, we've had them for years now. They're called levequests.

I was thinking more along the lines of how FATE will appear in your sidebar, let me rephrase.

Will we have daily and monthly quests similar to a World of Warcraft or Guild Wars 2 system, where the objectives appear on a sidebar on your screen? Similar to how FATE does it.

We are so close to release so please can you disclose any other new classes/jobs?

When will be able to see this "drastic change" to Monk we have all been hearing about?

With the addition of Arcanist coming with ARR is there any plans to add more pet based classes like Beastmaster in future updates/expansion?

Are there plans to create tabards, or something else that identifies the linkshell/free company you belong to besides the icon next to player names?

Is there plans to add a pure support class?

A class with most of its game-play based around supporting. Perhaps even providing some unique debuffs (such as oil and imperil).

Examples of support classes are the FFXI bard and previous final fantasy versions of the bard. Green mage , chemist and synergist.

With A Realm Reborn, is there a pet job in the making? Or ones that will be able to charm or manipulate the monsters of Eorzea (For example, a Beastmaster or Tamer job/class)?

Are there still plans to designate an official roleplay server for ARR so that roleplayers will be able to find others to share in this activity? If so, will it only be one server? And would it be a global server? Or will there be one roleplay server for each region?

can you go into detail about free company/linkshells?

Can you make a new monster like Keshi, a horse demon?

You've mentioned that players will be able to change their hairstyle and hair color. Will this be done in a barbershop? If so, will the barbers be accessible to new players price wise , so they can alter their look without needing to re-create their character?

Will crafters be able to make equipment which has similarly high demand compared to equipment players can find from chests or monsters?

In other games such as GW2 that have systems like ARR's FATEs there is a problem with the repetitive nature making them go stale quickly and in most cases the starter through the mid zones have 0 people participating in them and they are nearly impossible to solo which means for those just starting out or who rerolled a new character they do not get to enjoy them as much as they could. They instead become a roadblock or just spammed by high lvl characters for drops. Is there anything in ARR that will help to keep FATEs fresh? As in level capping them to prevent abuse by high lvl characters and farmers or having the event changing periodically to keep it from going stale?

There are only so many times a farm can be attacked by bandits and harpys after all...

Will there be more weapons that have special animation effects or transform when they are drawn, and will Bard have more musical-themed weapons aside from the Relic?

What will this game have that will really make it different and worthwhile compared to all the other games out there? We've done a lot of what has been announced before in other games from FFXI to GW2 to WoW clones. What is one thing you can introduce that is really special and unique?

Will we be able to buy the Meteor Survivor T-shirt?
