In the current FFXIV you are still awarded XP after reaching level 50. It just doesn't do anything.

Yes, but the exp bar in the current version stays at 0, and in the screenshots it was actually going up. And I'm not saying this definitely means we're getting a cap increase, just saying we might.

Another wierd thing I noticed, he only has 870 TP, but the bar is almost filled. Also the TP bar seems to be filled at 1000 in all the screenshots where he isn't fighting, maybe TP will act more like MP?

Looks like the lvl cap has been raised too. Drg has been gaining exp, 550,000 for lvl51

Could likely just be running in a debug mode to show things off.

I think it would be better if TP was full until you used it and regenerated out of combat + auto attacks, since spell casters aren't restricted by the need to gather TP before casting an attack spell spell.

"Refresh" Needs some improving as well.

I don't get what you are saying his tp regen to full in 3 secs after that fight in the vid.

I'm going to doubt the cap will be raised honestly...yes the xp bar kept going but it did the same in Other MMO's and Wouk just stop once filled so when they do raise cap it will take 1 kill to level etc...

BUT..I could be wrong of course! ;)

I don't know if this has been discussed (got to this thread late) but I noticed the Chocobo is now an inventory item instead of a key items (ala the whistle). Does this mean that if we want to switch between chocobos, we have to take them along with us?

Saw the pics and the video...I like what I see...but I would still love to know if there's a chance for a menu based UI and macros ala FFXI, I really hate the whole action bar thing...also don't care for the jumping (but thats just me). But other than that I think SE is on the right track to get XIV out to the masses.
