I ordered 3 copies (one collector's edition) - and there are no keys, same message. "Your key is being processed and it will be available here soon or when the product is released."
Eastern Time Zone as well. (3:30ish) Never going to order from the Square Enix store again. What a nightmare. :/

Seriously SE? What is the point of preordering... I could have got my key quicker from Amazon at this rate.

Currently 3:25 PM CDT. Pre-ordered 2 digital collectors 3 weeks ago. Still no codes. I ordered from them because I assumed that would prevent possible mishaps that could happen with a 3rd party vendor. Called support this morning. After an hour and fifteen minutes of being on hold, they told me I should "get it by the end of the day". Also, Square Online store is apparently run by a 3rd party company. So thanks Square-Enix. Never buying first party from you again.

What happens if i don't get the key when early access ends? do i lose access to dancer and the new zones? seems weird lol

If the key isn't registered by the 5th, you would only temporarily lose access to them (registering the code would restore it).

But if all the codes aren't out by then, it's likely they'd extend the grace period.

My physical collectors edition just arrived, but I can't find a code anywhere inside it. Does anyone know where its supposed to be?

The code should be on a slip of paper inside the sealed game case. It will have images of the CE in-game rewards on one side and instructions for redemption on the other.

Get in touch with those who sold you your copy, or look again inside the box, maybe the paper is stuck inside?

Doesn't bother me as long as I get it by the 5th but I've got friends who are pissed off because they purchased the digital CE and can't get their items while other players are already using them,

I don’t know exactly when mine became available, but when I checked a little before 5pm EST it was available. Weird that some others with NA accounts haven’t gotten theirs yet but some have.

Don't have mine either. I would be really pissed having taken a day off work to experience the official launch had it not been for the fact that I am finishing the last patch in Stormblood.

It is possible they are being processed in the order of purchase, but I still feel like it should be an automated process generating random codes.
So I feel like a lot of the orders should have begun processing the morning of release.

5:30 pm EST still nothing. will it be today at all i wonder?

That's highly unlikely, I pre ordered and pre paid as early as possible. Haven't gotten any code.

Paid back on 3/1 if it was in order of orders I'd be closer to the front of the line.

What it looks like is they don't have an automated system handling the code releases and have people manually approving the codes, which would be insane but it's the only way the process would take this long. Any automated system would be able to release to each reason almost exactly at midnight without issue (like quite literally every other digital vendor on the planet).

There is also the possibility they are simply releasing the codes in batches to prevent too many people from logging into mog station to prevent it from crashing. That's also a possibility I suppose.

Let's try to test that. I ordered on 6-24 and still have no code. Has anyone who ordered after that date gotten theirs yet?

My guess is that they're releasing the codes in batches to thwart anyone attempting to brute force crack the codes.

I ordered a week after pre-order came out. I got my PC digital regular edition code about an hour ago.

I ordered after I got paid on Feb 8th, NA online store, digital collectors edition. No code.

I preordered from the Square Enix store and still have not received the code. I think next expansion I might try somewhere else though.

I got mine about 3 hours ago.

My SO received it about 2 hours ago. We're both on PC, bought digital copies, non-steam.

One thing to check - mine didn't come in on a separate email. It was on the original email that included the pre-order code, but now it had the option to unlock the formal registration key. That option was not in the email last week!

Not here. Almost 5pm. Thank goodness I have early access or I wouldn't be able to play. Yeah, thinking ordering from their online store was a mistake.

And sure, it would probably have a date on when it would be done and delivered. But what sais something won't happen that would drag out that time a day or two.
Have you ever ordered food and they told you it would be done in 10 mintures (or something) but it gets done later or even sooner than what they said?
I wonder if you rage when your pizza (or whatever) is a bit later than what they said.

I am not trying to white knighting anything here. I'm just expressing my thoughts on people getting angry over a code not being set at the strike of the 2nd.
When infact it doesn't change anything wether the code is registred or not (yet again, unless you need it to unlock SB etc).
How much did it corrupt the pre-release gameplay not having the code?

And yes, you are right. Whatever people think or do is not my business. But this is a forum. And everyone on this thread is expressing their feelings on this matter. I simply did the same. Except the game is finished and many people already have their codes. This is well and truly unacceptable. There is absolutely no reason everyone that has bought had paid for the game to not have their code.

You're also forgetting there are people who plan days off, etc around launch days and may be trying to finish Stormblood content (there were plenty of people in the Novice/Returning channel in that boat). They're DIGITAL codes.. it shouldn't take literally 2 days to generate them.. #YoureWrongStopIt


*Annnd just now the order page updated from the "In process" thing.. it's actually the same exact code I received in my original email (in the grey bar near the bottom), but now it's says it's registered.. again. xD

Finally got my NA SE store code.
