Yeah i actually want the halo but wish they could atleast make a seperation in mogstation xD oh well:T

Wont buy them but great that they finally added them, even if I still find them too high priced. (I am fine if things are put in cash shop that did cost money in the other countries) Hopefully we will someday get wings as mounts (that also look a bit better).

Only negative is that they are one piece. Having the wings and coat seperate would make that probably more interesting for more people.

Not a fan of the F2P Korean MMO aesthetic but it took them long enough to add them.

I mean I think that way about that pig suit from the gold saucer, but not like I can do anything about it. There are tons of hairstyles I dislike too.

Everyone likes different things and everyone has things that are aesthetically unpleasing to them, but in the end how others choose to glam or design their personal characters shouldn't affect others. It's not your character so its like /shrug.

Move on and have fun playing with your own character and designing it and glamouring it how you like it.

General statement (so not towards you specifically) to people who hate it so bad they want to delete people lol....it is kind of going ridiculously overboard over nothing.

I mean when I saw the first pictures of it I kinda didn't like the sets much either, but as more pictures came out I started to like it more.

I did buy one of them, the angel one, since I had been waiting for their release and honestly I think they are quite nice. The design of the robes are nice, the halo is cute, the pants and boots are nice and every piece is dyeable.

The wings yeah they could look a bit better probably, but have to take into consideration the graphics SE is currently working with I guess.

I'm happy with my purchase since I don't buy like much of anything entertainment wise besides my subscription to this game and a few mogstation outfits here and there if I like them.

Looks so dumb and out of place. Nezha's outfit could fit in this game the mount was too dumb though. 2 flaming disks without even an axis.
But this outfit takes the crown of the most ugly and dumb outfit the store has to offer.

They look really tacky but I know tooonnnsss of people have been begging for wings in game so there it is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So just as an FYI, SE did not design these outfits. The licensing team from the servers that are not global, (Korea and China ex) has a design team that creates these. In order to bring them to the global servers SE has to pay THAT company for the license to use it. As such it can only be placed on the mog station. The Nezha outfit was the same iirc. So please stop bashing SE for creating an 'ugly' outfit when all they did was respond to a player desire to have region exclusive outfits brought onto our version.

The head piece is the one from the angel set. The Halo. It has a circlet on it too which is the chain and gem over my hair.

The halo part is above my head. You can kinda see the halo ring but it got washed out in the brightness of my AST ability I used for the screenshot.

Can we have a source ? Since everytime something new arrives it's shown during a LL or such by Yoshida himself, I've highly doubts about that, so it could help to have some specific informations.

The only thing that I've found so far is that Shanda games is handling the servers for the Chinese version, but the game is still owned by Square Enix itself (same for the korean version - published by Eyedentity entertainment). So, somehow, it sounds like that strange legend about a ghostly and mysterious team handling the mog station above Yoshida and his team.

I'd consider making a request thread to get an option to remove them but... considering another company made them (if what an earlier post said is true), I doubt SE would have the right to modify them at all. What a shame. I really liked the looks of the coat. I just can't abide the wings as a RP'er. Not as anything other than a Halloween Costume at least.

I'm sort of in the same boat. Love the coats, will never touch them due to the wings. Not even for a costume.

To be honest I’d be more interested in buying these from the mog station if they did not have the wings. I like the base coat and all of the little accent pieces.

Somebody needs to get the angel set on a paladin, use a wing prism, and then use the 70 ability. Bonus points if you change your name to Birdemic.

That's because these were made at a secondary studio that handles all affairs for FF14 in China due to their regulations regarding outside businesses. It looks low quality because it wasn't made by the same people who normally made the sets, plain and simple. It's also why it took so long to release them to other regions.

What secondary studio? Shanda games? Eyedentity? They don't develop anything on the FFXIV version that they publish. They are mostly here to handle the servers in these specific countries.

Huh, thanks for the clarification. That's what I've been lead to believe from multiple people for the longest time, but a google search provides no back up for it - and the one youtube video of a Chinese exclusive monster I could find had Japanese being spoken in the background. I'll definitely retract my statement then, I was wrong.

Hopefully they make a craftable glamour item WITHOUT the wings. *nudgenudgeSEmakeithappennudgenudge*

Little clarification: the cash shop team at SE designs these outfits, but they are usually commissioned by the third parties that host FFXIV in China and Korea.

That being said, it's a toss-up if I would invest in these. I really like the boots because there aren't enough nice thigh-highs in this game, but I haven't decided yet. I haven't really spoiled myself with any extra purchases outside of a few books, so maybe I will. I have to think about it a bit more.

Tried them on by inspecting someone in game. The dyeable horns were the one part of the set that I originally wanted... and don't look particularly great. Monkey paw'd :c

I wouldnt even touch these if they were free. They look awful.
