I Can't Log in SE my Main on Aether and my Alt on Primal Data Center Error Code 2002 PLEASE REPLY and FIX !!!
Erm, so this is a bit odd.
I'm from sweden, couldn't connect to the Aether Data Center, figured i should try turning on my VPN and connect to a server in the US.
I actually got in, lol
EDIT: Tried turning off the VPN and connect again to Aether Data center, diden't work. Turned it back on, could connect without any issues.
Yes, the datacenter is connected to the Internet through Level 3's infrastructure.
Ran a traceroute towards Excalibur just for confirmation. Take a good look at those timeouts upon accessing their network:
ORMUCO is where the NA datacenter is physically based. The IP listed in step #21 is the one associated with Excalibur.Quote:

Can't get into Aether either. My characters are on Midgard.

thanks for confirming this. It looks increasingly like the issue is somehow tied with routing into Level3, given the way you were able to bypass it by going through your VPN.
I do wonder whether it is because of outside factors (DDoS attacks have been rampant during the last few days) or internal network problems...
Made a trial WTFast account to see, got right in as well.
i think these ddos people need to have there internet takin away aswell just have charter comcast time warner all shut down there internet and verizon vios att every single one to send a message. if you cant follow the laws and stop breaking the rules we will just take away the internet because i dont care for anything else i just want to play on my main. thats got all my jobs..
I have 3 characters on Cactuar.
One won't log in at all.
One enters the game fine.
One takes about 3 or 4 tries to enter.
Having issues, how do you get in using a vpn?
Having this problem as well. I've been trying for 2 hours, also checking if SE posts anything about it. But got nothing from server nor SE...
Level3 is well known to have poor tech response times.
Same for me, has been doing this since 1 A.M. My time on Lamia (data center primal)
I can log on any other data center just fine though
We on Behemoth (Primal datacenter) were having the same issue since last night. Just about 90 minutes ago I was able to log in and do some roulettes, but some people from my server are still having problems logging in. I'm only presuming from observation, but it seems some of the datacenter machines could've stopped working and then the game world's capacities are criticaly low now, so only a few people are being able to play. Still no official word from SE.
Yeah it seems like it is quite tied with the Level3 issues plus to think that a DDoS attack just recently happened and affected the Level 3 infrastructure could be most likely it too.
Not able to log into Cactuar (error codes 2002, 10105 and 90006) for the last 5 hours. Just spoke to EU support for the second time. They said that they didn't know what the problem was. I asked them to escalate it so hopefully they'll actually work on it.
I'm from Aether-Zalera and all I've gotten was errors 10105, 2002, and 90006. I managed to log on once about 1 hour ago for about 2 minutes with the pokeball of death next to my name before i got DC'd.
Also if anyone has the fish "The Salter" that's how salty i am now. :3

Has anyone even heard anything from SE. Such poor support in a situation like this. If this has been going on since last night we should be able to find some information from them on it.
It appears to do with a core breach of Level3. Look up Level3 outage. Seems people who are using their services all over the world are experiencing this. It isn't just FF14
I've been tweeting and watching their updates. nothing... Bet their billing system is still working fine tho. :(
9:12am EST So it is now getting me to the character select screen, but it will not connect to the games server. Now it's basically a 12 hour affair.
It said it that we all wud be ban for temporary for illegal activity we made on that game but I had no idea what's going on Dx

I am starting to wonder if this is at SE's side. If its indeed this level3 routing... ive tried to find outage maps or sites detecting problems. And they display pretty major problems. Might have to do with the NA datacenter being very hard to reach.

I can't connect on my main character, but I was able to make a new one and log in with him, doesn't make any sense.

Well I work for a Major internet company, and there is no info on this either from them either. So its not the backbone being attacked.

Behemoth is also having this issue, I got kicked last night around midnight to one-ish am. gave up and went to bed not really thinking about it till this morning when I tried to get in.
Can't be ISP as i'm able to play. and my wife is not. we sit in same room and use same internet
