1.2 Needs to fix Sentinel, Tanking, and XI Class-ism.

Could greatly reduce the damage to hellfire by destroying one nail, making sentinel not as needed by other classes.

Ok, so i've killed a nail, gotten him killed multiple times, and no rampart doesnt help.. if I were a mage and had rampart and stoneskin on i'd be totally fucked. Sorry to say, I'll even screep cap if you want further proof, hell I even use emulate and still get hit for 2.5k sometimes. granted if you have anything higher then that you can live but your survive ability just dropped 95%

Oh gosh, you can be more effective using cross-class abilities in a class system built around using abilities from other classes. That's so horribly broken! People also "need" Second Wind/Invigorate/Ferocity/Raging Strike/Prime Conditioning/etc. By "need" of course I mean the same thing you mean with "needing" Sentinel. You can win without it but it's harder, so everyone will want you to get that stuff. If you don't like it, quit 'til 1.21.

Then put HP+ materias in your gears to enhance your survivability if you are so unwilling to get sentinel.

I think the problem here is that it sucks to already have 4 L50 jobs only to find out you need to level one that doesn't appeal to you ASAP if you want a decent shot at the newest content.


They said they are rebalancing classes in 1.20. I hope they do a better job than tanaka did because right now class balance is stupid.
