But you have to pay for instructors to teach you to drive. You wouldn't hitchhike a lift and then expect the driver to teach you how to drive.....

Also with point 4...sometimes that isn't true...if you have a usb keyboard you can plug that in and use it. (that's what I do...except if keyboard is dead - mine is a light powered keyboard. [I say light powered because I can use a fluorescent light to charge it])
My point being, that you have to have learned how to do something before you can just go and do it, and going into to something without having some idea of what you're getting into is unwise. That applies to everyday life, or you end up in places you won't want to be.
That's basically it. Nobody is looking for hitchhikers here.
So you randomly jump in someone's car and start trying to drive and yell at them for being elitist when refusing to?
Not to mention you already should know the theory at this point so yea, you did read. Unless you jump into a car without knowing the basic theory, then i hope i never cross you on the road while "learning to drive".
This is a stupid example to begin with, but you digging yourself a hole here.
It's worth mentioning that some people are doubtlessly like me in that a video is a great help but not a panacea for all newbie confusion. Watching is one thing, experiencing it is another.
I am not a veteran player in this game by any means. I am an idiot newb with more months of idiot newb ahead and a scrub, a bad, any manner of whatever people want to call me. But for the content I do (basically everything but Ex Primals since I am too late to the ball on that one) I am fairly knowledgeable. It makes me sad if people do NOT ask questions because I would rather teach them than let them be carried through or suffer a wipe due to confusion. Honestly, from my meager experience people in this game are more tolerant of teaching than in my last game (WoW). At least Law bonuses etc give incentive to clearing things with a new player. The most heartbreaking experience I had in WoW was raiding Foundry and the raid leader asked if anyone had done a boss before and was met with silence. A moment later he asked again saying "You WON'T be kicked if you haven't" and only then did the new players speak up and confess they were new. I certainly don't want that to become the norm here. I know it happens here, obviously, but it seems to happen a little less.
Anyway, as for myself.... I think everyone here on the forums is a veteran but if you aren't and you are in a dungeon or Trial or raid with me, odds are I know what's up or I wouldn't be there. Ask me if you have questions. I've been lucky enough to encounter some very patient people who have taught me as I taught myself and I am absolutely willing to pay it forward.
