Will we get to see Edda again?
Will we get to see Edda again?
1. Given that the primary Garlean invading force in Eorzea is broken and the local warlords (Gaius Van Baelsar and Nael Van Darnus) have been dispatched, what is preventing the retaking of Ala Mhigo? As I understand it, even the power structure in greater Garlemald is in turmoil preventing any expansion of the invasion effort in Eorzea.
2. Since Raubhan is a native of Ala Mhigo, why is he so clearly distant to the plight of the Ala Mhigan refugees. I would assume that their cause would draw more direct support from him.
3. All of the recent ilvl 100 weapons acquired from the exchange of unidentified Allagan tomestones appear to bear the mark of Rhalgr, the Destroyer. Does this imply that these weapons of of Ala Mhigan origin since Rhalgr is their patron deity?
We were told back during Beta or Launch (can't remember) that we would be given some lore and story about how and why minions exist in Eorzea, where they come from, and who was behind their mass existence. Are we still going to get this story at some point? And when is that?
I was wondering if you will make the AI on the Beast tribes smarter, in the Beta 3.0 the AI was, in my opinion, was just right. They would link if they saw their compatriot attacked...but now they are just stupid and let their friend/comrade get attacked. I know you made the game SUPER easy to cater to people, but seriously to easy makes them less likely to stay once they get to a point.
Echoing Axioxaviar's question to confirm to the one-question-per-post rule because I am also really interested in this;
Is any White Mage able to commune with the elementals, even the player character?
What would a Sea Wolf mother name her child if she didn't know who the father was?
Will there any be any sort of neutral territory?? Where Garleans and Eorzeans exist mainly probably for trading or possibly citizens fed up with the war?? I know this is implemented in other mmos and thought it would be interesting.
My husband brought up an interesting theory this weekend. He seems to be under the impression that the Echo is actually more insidious than it seems on the surface.
The Sahagin priest who summoned Leviathan was able to take over the body of a nearby NPC and transform it into his own using the power of the Echo, which supposedly grants immortality.
Does this mean that when our characters die, we are in fact using the power of the Echo to take over the bodies of nameless NPCs and transform them into our own? :(
If the Echo is compared to Tempering and is connected with the Ascians it does seems suspect. Which is why in light of the above post I'll ask this; Is the Echo a form of Tempering?
I apologize if this has already been brought up
Why don't male highlanders have eyebrows?
I liked the description for the Warrior job class and was wondering if we'll hear more about it or even better, visit Abalathia's Spine where it's said the tribe exists.
1. Since some main Final Fantasy characters like Lightning and Shantotto made a event appearance in A Realm Reborn: Final Fantasy XIV Online, will there be more main Final Fantasy characters making event appearances in the future?
2. I have a suggestion for Final Fantasy characters appearances. Why not bring spinoff Final Fantasy characters to Eorzea as guest appearances like Lightning and Shantotto? I'm talking about Kaze from Final Fantasy: Unlimited, Aki Ross from Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Prettz from Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals. It would be nice for them to shine again and maybe earn exclusive rewards.
3. Will there be other weapons coming like scythes, greatswords, katanas, daggers, whips, brushes, and guns?
can you add Paypal as a way to buy a subscription for our accounts.
1) Will we be receiving Odin as a primal battle? If will he be relating to the main story line or a side quest story?
2) What other cross-over plans do you guys have in plan in the near future?
3) Are we going to receiving any gathering related beast tribe soon?
We've already had Lightning and Shantato make their way to Eorzea, is there any chance that we could visit areas from other FF titles (Example: Narshe from FF6, Myst from FF4, etc.)?
Curious to know if we might ever get any strong lore to help boost racial pride? as it stands we know absolutely nothing about any of the playable races, outside of the fact that "here are the races, pick which one you think is pretty" and a short blurb of information at the beginning. Its nothing substantial, but I'd love a reason to be proud to play a Miqo'te or a Roegadyn ect.
1. Did the Allahgan have any rivals and what happened to them?
2. Did the Allahgan have a close relationship with the 12 gods?
3. Were the 12 gods more relevant than they are today?
4. Will we see quests and storyline related to the 12 gods?
5 Do all the continents believe in the 12 gods or are there other gods that other continents worship?
6. Do the Primal's know about the gods and have a relationship with them?
7. How are the gods related to the great crystal?
8. Did the Allaghan ever encounter the Ascians? How did that play out?
9. Is Zodiark as powerful or more powerful than any of the 12 or all of the 12 combined?
10. If the primals are incarnations of Zodiark, do the 12 have their own incarnations?
11. (I Lied, more questions!) Are Odin and Behemoth primals? If they are just normal monsters within the game, do all the unique bosses have stories behind them? I have noticed many of the FATE bosses have stories. Can these stories be connected to the lore of Eorzea?
12. Since the continent is named Eorzea, has SE had any friction with Disney regarding the use of one of their character names as the root of the name for a key land mass in the game?
13. Is there a most powerful primal? Like, a leader of them? If there is no leader are they all pretty independent or do they collaborate? Would it be possible that in the future there is a huge conflict between them or a huge conflict that binds them as allies?
14. Though, our characters are the "heroes" of Eorzea, could it be possible to have a more powerful "Super herolike" character to mentor us in future story quests? Like Zeid Tenzen or Lyon from FFXI?
Can we have info on what class will be needed on lvl 15 to get the Ninja Job for Rogues?
Do you think more people will bother reading the original post of this thread and actually follow the instructions and/or limit their questions to lore instead of mechanics questions and passive-aggressive jabs at endgame content difficulty? :p
What are the life spans of each race as it is implied that lalafell tend to live hundreds of cycles?
Are you planning to add a Card Game like Triple Trial and a Card Stadium where to Challenge other players?
Will you allow more lore submissions from the player base?
When will we start seeing more quests involving the Twelve in relation to our character's deity?
Is the wandering minstrel in any way supposed to be a clever rendition of Yoshi-P?
What will change the ishgardian mindset of not allowing trade/external persons into their walls?
what is the airspeed velocity of an unladen chocobo? ;)
Since you mentioned before guess stars from other SE games will be making appearance in FFXIV. Will we see guess appearances from Sora and the gang from Kingdome Hearts? If so how will it work with disney characters?
I also would like to see a dye option on marketboards or venders on items that can be dyed before buying........
edit on my last post, since I can't have 2 questions in 1 post:
Was Liavinne one of the many adventurers seen in the Dream sequence of the Mother Crystal?
What the heck is even going on with the Coeurlclaws and their King? Why are Keepers apparently living like Seekers?
No, I haven't finished the Palidan up to lvl 50, so forgive me if I am just ignorant.
When you start the Palidan quest/storyline, we are told that adventurers cannot swear fealty to the Sultana since we don't recognize any borders (I think, its been a while.)
Why can't we do this?
Personally, I want to side with her and the General kick some major Syndicate ... butt!
ADDED BONUS: We would be able to pick fights with the Brass Blades all over Thanalan and beat their ... butts too!
Who was Sasamo and what were his or her eighty sins?
1) If I was to compare the aetherial composition of the Twelve with the Primals, would there be a similarity?
2) Was Zodiark shattered into eight pieces? The EN translation of Ascian cutscenes seems to suggest that he was fractured into multiple pieces ("the Rejoining"), yet even after seven of them he hasn't been fully awakened/freed from his state of dormancy or loss of power.
3) How heavily connected is a Warrior of Light to Hydaelyn? The Ascians seem to be trying to 'power up' the player characters, yet they "prosper at great cost to his/her mistress", suggesting we're literally draining power from Hydaelyn by overcoming the impediments set in our way.
4) What would happen if I used the Echo on a Primal-tempered soul, including if I went as far as actually possessing that individual?
I'm wondering about Eos and Selene, and if there are only female fairies, and if so, why is that? Or will we be able to see future male fairies, or even know more about them in general? Could we possibly get male fairies, if that hasn't been thought of already?
The older gentlemen who accompanied us on our first cutscene went by a variety of names for each city-state you start in. But you never understand why he has multiple names, or ever see him again.
Will we have this character explained more soon?
Can we have a bit more information about Elbsts (Sahagin Mounts)? Do other races use them, since they allow for a high degree of mobility in the water? Can they breathe underwater?
Are Eos/Selene, carbuncles and egis equally sentient or do some have more will than others? Do they already know their moves and summoner just learns how to ask for them or do they get taught from scratch?
Is there a set timeline of events for the story? For example, how long after arriving in Eorzea do we fight Ifrit? One month, two months? How long goes between Primals and other events like the different binding coils in the world's "canon"?
