Not sure if this has been stated, but people need to realize that the very first player poll voted in FAVOUR of a long, drawn-out change. Also, the majority of the patches have been solid ground work, not visual game content. If you don't have patience for a game which stated that it would be taking a large portion of time and devoting it to changing the foundation, then yes, you should definitely quit this game.

I don't like the "start of the battle system changes" verbiage. Sounds like when their claim that they were focussing mostly on the battle overhauls for the last 4 months as response to slow development was a fib. Doesn't sound like they have much if all they have is a start.

Historically, when SE says they have a start of something, it usually means something stupidly trivial. Like yeah, all it is is auto attack slapped onto this system.

Sounds like more bluff to stall tactics. 4 months: we're focussing mostly on battles!
At month 5: we're starting to change the battles.

No, at 4 months we're already playing the final overhaul.

"we want to get it right" has become a chronic bluff. No, they just want to develop at a snail's pace. I have little expectation that the new battle engine will be more desperate flailing that needs severe correction by the players after it makes no sense even after a half year of planning and "making sure it's right."

I have received Guild marks as a reward for doing tasks. Mind you I have not done many, so I don't know if there are other rewards.

Well, after your post I reread the thread to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Basically, he is leaving the game because he doesn't like it. I don't know what you qualify as a hate thread. I totally have no problem with players talking about their experiences. I was only commenting on the title of the thread itself.

it may have been a random reward, kinda like how some people get 5 shards instead of 100, or some random item.
I somehow doubt you got this every time, and itl probly be a rare occurance.

Honestly, guild marks are so easy to get right now just doing rank 15+ leves(especialy for crafting) that having more ways to get themn almpst seems a waste at this point.
