Glad the transfer worked for you Sigurd. I had some problems myself trying to get my old character from moogle over here to salvage his "riches".

I do want to apologize again Bdawg, it was my mistake not to have outlined any naming restrictions in the first place.
I just wanted to breifly update our policy concerning character names. We are by no means a Roleplaying FC or require lore-appropriate character names, but there are limits to what we are comfortable with.
The majority of our members are rather... old, to put it mildly. Old people do not like slang, leetspeak, offensive language or things that are just base tasteless.
Funny?... We like that.
Silly?... np, go ahead and name your character "Strawberry Pie" if you fancy.
But if your name comes straight out of Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones or I need to look it up in the Urban Dictionary to figure out what it means, we are probably not going to get along all that well.
I know this is rather intolerant and not all that fair either, but it's how me and a good deal of our members feel, so I'd rather be a douche here than have people feel uncomfortable in the FC. That goes both both for our members who are too old fashioned to get along with someone having an iapproriate name, as well as the person having the inappropriate name feeling shunned.

Not like I meant any offense with a simple nickname that was given to me, and the person had never looked it up on google either, and neither had I, to be fair. Im not an offensive person or anything but hey if people cant get on because of a character name then its not a group I want to be part of. You could have asked about the name without looking it up and you would have seen that it was just an innocent nickname given to me, and not anything offensive. Anyway no worries as I said already.

Your FC seems perfect for me. I'm definitely an old fart (44). Been playing MMOs since 2003, played most of the usual big titles, done the hardcore raiding thing where it becomes more like a 2nd job, and less about the fun. I have a full-time job (shifts), a partner, a son, 2 dogs and 2 cats, so I am definitely a casual player these days. I neither have the time nor the inclination to play any game hardcore anymore.
I still love playing MMOs, and I enjoy the social aspect of having other like minded people to play with, especially in a trans-European Guild/FC. I love the melting pot of different nationalities working together to achieve goals. tbc

What I don't want anymore in my gaming life, where my time is restricted by real life, is to be told what to play, and when to play it. If I'm on-line, then I'm on-line.....if I'm not then that's how it is. While I am on, I'm more than happy to take part in group activities. I would like to see some end game stuff, but I'm not in any rush to get there, I'm just casually levelling through the game and enjoying the scenery along the way.

I do enjoy being a bit silly at times, having some fun and friendly banter once I get to know a group of people well. I do miss that since I stopped playing another top title MMO. Great bunch of people, but the progression as stated became more like a job, I burnt out so stopped playing. Hence, I'm looking for a no pressure, casual, friendly, mature, easy going group of people to play with.
Forgot to mention, I'm a lvl27/16 GLD/CNJ working toward PLD. Was a healer in "that game", but tanked in LotR and enjoyed it so thought I'd pick that role up again.
Anyway, thanks for reading, and if you feel I'm suitable for Vagabond Knights, please don't hesitate to shout me in-game or here in this thread.

I actually just re-rolled onto the Pheonix Server and have been looking for a free company community to join. I am generally happy just joining people for groups or the odd dungeon here and there if I am online. Unfortunately work takes a lot of my time but I always try to get in game 2-3 times a week!
My character (Dreasus Pol) is currently a level 20 Conjurer and eventually a white mage once I can get up to it.
If you are willing to welcome this UK based vagrant into the fold, I would be happy to join :D
