For the Love of GOD FIX Gridania!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suppose, but considering that FFXIV should strive to be considerably better than FFXI, I don't think FFXI's old shortcomings should be an excuse now. Honestly, we could use more variety within our existing zones overall, and this would only help toward achieving that.

So after 7 pages it is in agreement that Gridania Stays And Black Shroud needs to have the moon crash into it.

Three days. Until Golden Week is over and they'll start working on the game again.

Gridania is actually the best town in the game i think it's just such a shame the area around it is so awful.

Also on that note, fix where you go for the R36 BTN quest. Want a suicidal quest? That's the one for you. You need to go to a instance at 17-35, the path there is surrounded by Anoles and Pteroctraps. Then when you get there there's about 3-5 Scout Vultures around the instance.

I think the amount of closed doors and gates in there is really misleading. Like others I hope moon face-plants on the woods around gridania and release some creativity in the art team of XIV.
