Wha? The whole point of auto-run is that you can tap it and then have your hands free to do other stuff, like accessing the menu, etc. If you're going to hold down auto-run you may as well just hold down the movement keys?

Anyway, I love the new targeting update! My only gripe with it is that pressing confirm targets whatever's in-front of you regardless of which targeting filter is active; no idea whether that's a bug or not though. :s

In conclusion: Viva la /targetmode a (/'-')/

Unless you are talking about the system being glitchy and targetting enemies and party members at the same time in the Enemy filter mode while pressing left/right.

It was weird getting used to it after being used to target mode b. But nothing like a behest to make us accostumed to the new setup.

This was the best thing to happen to the controller players targeting :D

Yeah I was used to it from target mode b. lol

So there you go SE, you must make /targetmodes A-Q so that each individual person can set their targetting their own special way, because how dare you make people get used to new controls!

I really love the new targeting mode. Once I get home later today I'm gonna reconfigure my controller, join a behest, and test it out some. \^-^/ Can't wait.

When you cue up a Cure spell and use UP/DOWN to select party memebers, does it now
highlight the players on the party list?

It used to highlight players' names when a spell was not cued, but not during sub-targeting.

Can anyone confirm this is fixed?

As a controller user, I can say that the new set up is simply fantastic, even with my wacky controller setup (I press down on my left control stick to autorun).

I'm torn on how they should approach the keyboard issue, however. On one hand, you want your control system to be consistent, but on the other hand, keyboard/mouse users operate far differently than those who use a controller. I'm not certain a good compromise can be found, to be honest.

yeah, i guess my multiple 50's show how little i know about the game. the point is some of us are not holding auto-run, but this glitched piece of junk release does not work properly. i have already stated my l3 button is my auto-run button i click it once to engage it......i do not hold it. i said hitting the button and using auto-run if i pass someone and wave in passing it locks it.

No highlighting for subtargetting still :(

Edit: and for all those still bytching about bugs with the new setup up... head to the **** bug forum!!! Bugs are part of video games, get over it! They WILL happen, whether you like it or not >.< It adds nothing to a discussion about the changes *facepalm* ... again *sigh*

Am I the only one who uses the mouse to target things? Want to target something? Click on it. BAM, easy as pie.

I'm trully sorry, Darkstar Poet. That remark was not for you. I apologize for it, cuz it seems your case is a bug.

That statement was for other ppl who clearly said they are holding down the auto-run and pushing other buttons because they want, but they dont want it to change lol
