Yes you do, I beat it on BLM while working on MNK relic and did not recieve credit. Went back on MNK and beat it again and recieved credit upon leaving.

Yes, as long as they don't earn any experience with it equipped it won't bind.

The halatali hydra, is it a special instance you have to be on that part of the relic quest to take part in?

It is instanced yes, but other than the person doing it, no one else needs to be on the quest.

Just advanced this quest on my SMN. It took the Picatrix of CASTING with 2 SAVAGE MIGHT III materia melded to it. I'm on the Dhorme Chimera part now.

From what I know. You can still have someone else craft the weapon for you.

For Bard kills for Beastmen is: 8x Natalan Boldwings, 8x Natalan Fogcallers and 8x Natalan Windtalons. Just to add to guide if you'd like.

Also I've heard you need to have 900 Allagan Tomestone of Philosophy, can anyone confirm. Granted I'll be there soon so I'll figure it out. Oh and it takes 300 Allagan Tomestone of Mythology to get +1 I believe.

Hello all,

I believe you can check your progress point prior to finishing main quest and a class job quests. go to journal, completed quests, legacy quests, and it should be the 1st one (Arms of Eld) then it would mention the weapon name that you started and the step you are currently on. I can confirm this cause my friend was Step 7 and got his quest and was on the ifrit fight. It says im on step two, so im assuming im at chimera, cause im sure i handed in my weapon.
