I am like all of you, stuck at 1017. It's become very clear to me that there is no work being done to improve the login issues for today. Which is incredibly sad. I'm beginning to rethink my gaming strategy. I have stayed with and followed SE through many years, and they have almost never disappointed me. The first launch of FFXIV was a huge trainwreck, and they actually made me hopeful for ARR release. Now that I am facing the world is full message, I'm getting angry, and there isnt a damned thing I can even do about it aside from complain, and sound like a broken record.
If this problem has not been resolved by the end of the week, I will be demanding a refund on the purchase of my game.

I started at 11 am this morning, and now its 7:20 pm, so not long. 14 days and counting..

Ive been trying to log in since I got home from work 2 hours ago... got a "queue" 4 times!!! then abruptly an error message saying the world was full over top of it... WTF!
Give me a queue with 10k people in it, I don't care. At least with a queue I would have known that I would have 3+ hours before being able to play and I could have done something else while waiting instead of pushing the same freakin button over and over.

I haven't been able to play my character on Cactuar server since the first day of Early Access. Beat that!

Stopped counting the hours...early access i could barely get in...actual release i can't log in at all...eff you SE

Got 90000'd (which they said they fixed?) and now I'm getting the 1017 for the past 2 hours :mad:

Server: Ultros
CST- login attempts between 12-2pm, and 4:30-930pm
types of attempts over those time periods:
0 num spamming but watching for q pops--there were no q pops and constant 1017
restarting the client logging in fresh every time--there were no q pops and constant 1017
restarting my machine, and reloging in --there were no q pops and constant 1017
I would try combinations of the above over different times with no success at all. I wonder if the users who are eventually getting in are on much lower pop servers. In phase 4 there were some q's but nothing like this.(between major crashes, 9000 etc. of course)

All day. Have not been able to play my main at all.
It's only a matter of time before the JP players start getting annoyed at this point. They are used to "quieter" servers and the NA/EU players do tend to overuse the /shout chat.
Some people are more patient than others but there will eventually be a time when even those people will lose their patience as well.
If they cannot get things in order by the time the pay period begins, it will not be pretty. Shades of 1.0 anyone? They cannot afford a prolonged battle with the servers.
