Digital River is providing FALSE information.

For the peeps in Canada. I spoke with DR because my tracking number has been labeled as "NotTraceable" for 3 days now. I called and spoke with there customer support. I didn't pay for any extra for speedy shipping. The customer service rep advised me my package was shipped as international airmail (no tracking number given). He also said it could take up to 4 weeks to arrive. I was assured that it was shipped out and in the mail. So if you are in the same boat as me, and didn't pay for the extra fast shipping, it will arrive, and it was shipped.

Four weeks is a pain, but well worth the wait!

In my experience there are often delays (sometimes a day or more between when a tracking number is given and when the package is actually trackable in their system.

A tracking number is created when the courier recieves the billing information; it doesn't necessarily mean the package is in their hands yet (and it usually isn't, until at least hours later but occasionally it can take longer)

if you got overnight shipping, it isn't going to get sent out until a day or two before the launch. This is a standard practice so that things yet to be released don't reach you until just before or on the release date.

Getting faster shipping on unreleased products is often a waste of money because of this. Whether you get fast shipping or not, you usually end up receiving it at the same time.

I tried to cancel with gamestop tuesday and they said mine was waiting to be shipped so they wouldn't cancel it. it hasn't been shipped yet.

How is it fair for people who pre-ordered CE first not get their copies? I pre-ordered CE for PS3 on June 15th with $18 for shipping and have a feeling I will not be getting a copy. I will be complaining to SE until I reached corporate, whether they are responsible for shipment or not. I will wait until the 27th to complain though since it's possible ours haven't been shipped since we paid for overnight shipping. This is terrible business though.
