Yeah noticed that too and it's my suspicion ever since that all these mixed ups were due to the migration.

BEing able to play on the same server has nothing to do with it. Even the Japanese can go to NA/EU servers if they want to or vice versa. The problem is with the SE account (the https://secure.square-enix.com site not the social site) regions as well as, the PSN regions for PS3 users since you cannot register your codes if their regions don't match.
Dev update please.Only takes 5 seconds to post.Ease some of our racing minds.
No my dear, not the pre-order site, for get that for a moment. Not talking about going to the preorder site and hovering the mouse and selecting that language/region.
Just go to the normal FFXIV website http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/. Upper right corner there is a Log In link, click that. Then you are taken to a screen that has three boxes on the left, FB, Steam, and SE North America, and on the right side, Username and password section with a login button. If you use your login on the right, look at the URL after it redirects you back. Then upper corner, lick your name and select User settings, if it http://eu.square-enix.com/us/profile/edit/basic, then you are not migrated, you should be on http://na.square-enix.com/us/profile/edit/basic . Log out and then go to log back in, use the SE North America box on left not the right side login this time, use your email and password to migrate. Then at bottom of User settings you can change to US lang, then at very bottom footer on right side has another to change. May change back after saving, but it should then give you the NA site instead. Or you can even try the login at the normal http://na.square-enix.com/us/ and see what the URL states.
Sorry, mind goes faster than fingures now adays... hope this clears it up a bit.
The Square Enix site layouts and systems are all so absurdly confusing, Go to one site for your account (which is only accessed by knowing the URL), another site for that same information but less in depth and apparently useless, and then you visit a third site for something else or to register one of the 3000 codes you have to enter to register your game, your name, your family tree, medical records and your hopes and your dreams. BUT then it tells you that all of this can only be done when the moon is full and the Gypsies dance naked around a fire at midnight.
Well played, Square Enix, I have been bamboozled.
When I select user settings it does automatically take me to na
I still keep getting EU codes....im out of ideas ive called and emailed them and waiting patiently but everyone around me i feel like they are getting their codes and im not
Add me to the pile of NA people stuck with EU codes. I've done ALL the tricks people suggest, made sure I'm on NA sites, edit settings to make sure Language and Region are set to US-en. I just get the same RAAE code over and over again.
Tried going to na.square-enix.com and changing my country to Italy, but eu code still didnt work. :-)
Too bad the secure.square-enix site doesnt allow us to change region or Id try that.

You just go to the site where you enter your 6-3-6-3 code and enter it again. Some people say it worked, but hasnt for me.
