The only reason I actually responded to your thread was that you seemed like a pretty good person. Usually I don't even respond to these types of threads, but yours wasn't terribly written. Glad to know my feeling was right.

Legacy was such a bad idea.. People need to stop feeling so special now

I am pretty much in the same position as the OP:
1.0 Beta
CE Edition
Payed for the game for a while, but gave up on it.
Came back around 1.2 ish
Although, I certainly didn't get any "Legacy Campaign emails" or even find out about the Legacy thing until I heard people chattering in game, and saw it on forums. By which time, it was too late for me to sign up (I think I missed it by about 4 days... oh well).

Major difference between me and OP ? - i'm not Legacy, I don't care, and I think "Deserve" is a word used far too much regards this "Legacy" option. For whatever reason, you missed the boat. Now get over it, and get on with it. Play the game, or don't.

How people with this attitude can make friends in an MMO and enjoy the multiplayer content befuddles me.

cant go worse then phase 3, doubt there gonna do something to break the game on launch day. maybe we'll get first day congestion. people who think this is gonna be a FFXI mirror image might say the game sucks when they play it.
or people who want f2p will say it sucks.
