PS3 vs PC

@solace i will appreciate all the help i can get ! I would love the cheapest route.

I'll play on both but all serious stuff will be on PC when I wanna play in bed i'll use the PS3:p

PC on the sofa with Wireless 360 gamepad / kb+m. Easier to look things up online, control media player, manage voip, do a little work etc etc etc

Mine cost me 450$ to build 2years ago :) build other one for my gf for little less then that.

I was looking for a computer just to play FFXIV and maybe random games if i feel like it but if your into playing other games that is not online you could still play them maybe on med or high setting it's up too what type of video you get for the right price.

PC.

The PS3 is for when I have company over and have nothing better to do than play Madden or whatever. It mostly just gathers dust though.

i play Multi-platform on PC a fully upgradable highly adaptable platform. While i own all this generations consoles its purely for exclusive titles. I'm thinking of skipping the next generation entirely, i long for the days when a game console just played games. i don't need all that multimedia bullshit nor do i need ads pumped down my throat every time i boot up to play.

Both.
PC for when i'm doing hardcore stuff(raids, NMs, etc).
PS3 for when i feel like doing more casual stuff(crafting, gathering, raising chocobo, etc).

PC, because I do a lot of others stuff on there while playing.
