As an artist, you cannot truly do your own piece, cause I'm sure somebody out there has already done it. But I really don't see anything to resemble a copy. I mean when I first thought about doing this contest I was thinking about doing something similar to the above but went with a different idea.

The chocobo are on different sides, drawn differently...and the characters are their own. I don't see a problem.

There are literally 1001 other posts if not more than could have been done. Whenever I do a competition I always check the entries to make sure this kind of thing never comes up because it would suck if I drew something similar to another artist and then they felt their work was trivialized or that the artist in question was incapable of coming up with an original idea.

I'm not mad, but I feel kinda odd about the whole thing :/ I think that maybe choosing a unique pose would have been better instead of pretty much taking my idea and recoloring it. :/
