Yes yes, back then also was confuse, but is confirm that all Legacy is a qualified tester. Just wait for the announcement on when Beta starts.. and be ready :)

Some people already followed up on the information but for phase 1 of beta test. If you fit in one of the two below you will be able to participate.

Those with FFXIV Legacy status
Those that were selected from the registration site

For those with FFXIV service accounts, you will definitely be able to participate from beta phase 3.
Of course, if you get selected at phase 1 or phase 2, you can participate from then. So would appreciate if you could please register once the ARR beta tester application is released at early time January, 2013.

Says Legacy + Beta Application Testers can participate from Phase 1, I don't really see anything about Legacy being auto in every other beta.
