I hang out in uldah a lot, and a lot of the "vets" I see are nothing but "posers", showing off their latest addition to their "uber gear" collection. I'll bet some of them have killed Ifrit over 100 times. These kind of peopel don't care about new players. But, if the population doesn't grow significantly, they may regret how they play the game.

I don't see how it can be disturbing when the tail of the tonberry is underneath me. Maybe if it was in front of me, I would see where you were coming from. You just have a dirty mind.

lmao honestly i havent done any quests at all i hate questing. Quest rewards tend to be crap rewards to Mission drop or NM drops so i dont waste my time with them.

People will most likely keep subscribing even after their 3rd 50. If they can tolerate going through the same quests and storylines, grinds, etc. in other MMORPG's with different characters, then I am sure that doing this with a single character would be much more fulfilling to them.

If I understand the leveling system in 2.0 correctly, it will be similar to the Achievement System now. That means you can basically try to do it anytime but will find it easier later on. Also you gain achievement points based on accomplishments not how many monsters you kill. It is really a totally different game.

They have also said lots of new content and more on the way. I don't see us old time level 50 players doing much better than the newbies. You can't defeat the game and leave.... You have to continue playing.

I do quests in the hope that I'll get a quest line like the SOB ones in FF11.

Now that I think of it, none of the quests i've done in FF14 have been "memorable". Although, I did steal a line from that Nikolus (sp) kid in gridania.

lmao when i first did that quest and the Mithra thief said You good for Nothing SoBs i lost it, thinking she called them sons of bitchs and SE was just wording it like that, till i found out their name was Star Onion Brigade i lost it even harder.

Taru CSs were the best in FFXI :D Lalafells are not as silly as Tarus >.> i still remember the CS of windy rank up at the windurst building in jeuno and one of the Tarus is daydreaming about windurst XD i also love how Taru NPCs panic in CSs
