Which music you want to keep, which to go?

I kinda miss the dungeon music. I hope they keep that in some form, just not for EVERY frickin raid in the game lol. Twilight over thanalan imho is an iconic song of ffxiv amd should stay.

Limsa city music is my favorite.

Goobue mount music is my second favorite.

The Thanalan music is wonderful, for some reason it always reminds me of a Miyazaki movie.

Everything else I can take it or leave it.

Agreed, I felt the same way. The way the music crescendos then drops to the piano, very soft, it reminds me a lot of Hisaishi's score in Spirited Away.

If SE retained this beautiful theme for somewhere in 2.0 (maybe in the new cathedral shown in one of the screenshots released?), I'd be in heaven:

For some reason this track is becoming increasingly poignant for me with 1.0's impending shutdown (I just wish I knew the title of this track :().

Yes, many tears are being shed whenever I listen to this track - I'm so sappy about things like that.

As for other tracks I'd love to see make it into 2.0, my own personal favourites would be:

Navigator's Glory (LL theme, yes I know it's repetitive when you've heard it loop for the thousandth time, but this track alone brought be back to 1.0 after I'd given up on it at release)
On Windy Meadows
The Forest's Pulse
Both chocobo themes
Twilight over Thanalan
Quicksand
Primal Judgement
Broken Angel

I still can't get over how varying 1.0's original soundtrack was in terms of quality, some of it was rubbish or at best forgettable, but some of it (the original Uematsu tracks, not the later stuff added by Soken and others), rates amongst Uematsu's best work in my opinion.

For me that track is... Track 18... still can't find the name for it.

And I have to agree with the variance part, though I don't think there's a single track I honesty dislike, and certainly enjoy most of them. It's a shame I can't say that for a single ARR track though, so far... Then again, that's all of... 7 or so.

Agreed. One of my favourites (in fact, it was my number 1 favourite track from the OST, but the Path Companion theme I linked earlier has since knocked it off the top spot). :P

Still beautiful none-the-less (I remember when I first heard it on the website before the game's release, and for some reason I mistook it for the Gridania theme - it seemed fitting for a quiet forest village like Grid. Imagine my surprise and disappointment to find it wasn't. :p).

Didn't really care much for the Uldah city music either, it was a little dull, and not in a relaxing way.

I hoppe the Lousiox Theme will be here in 2.0 but i dont think so he die ;(
