Totally agree. Few weeks ago I posted a topic saying that S-E is not caring enough of people playing the current version of the game and I got many "move out, ppl, troll thread here" replies.

But it is totally true. They are just not giving a f*** about us. Just give us free anima and free GC seals to keep us all happy and busy before they close down.

Hmmm...not sure about this.

Coming from someone who gathers a lot, it only takes around 30 seconds or less in "most" cases to run to the next point. Surely that isn't too much to ask of people? I personally do not think the spacing is bad at all. Are SE just going to line up all the points in a row for us now? O.o

I actually enjoy tracking down the next mining/logging point. I can't be the only one.

Just in case anyone missed it, the list of achievements to be removed has been officially updated.

With the exception of Halatali, Horizon and Bloodshore I agree.

I just completed all the spearfishing, it was fairly easy and not too lengthy. I have a friend working on ALC luminary who was very happy to get all kinds of arachnids and amphibians I roused with my fork.

Also, for those stuck on Iron Lake spearfishing (as it only has 2 nodes) I learnt a trick from a kind JP player. Pick up one of the Iron Lake fishing leves and start it up. Go to the spearfishing node at (23,6) and spear it. Then move to the water to the side, cast your rod in, then cancel straight away. THen run to the west side of the lake where the leve school is and do the same, cast in and cancel. Then run back to the other side, cast and cancel. You should now be able to spearfish that same node. No need to run to the 2nd node at all. Every 30 mins you will have to refresh your leve. This should work for other camps where there is a leve school near a spearfish node and a space for a non leve fishing.

So in summary: Spearfish -> Fake fish non-school -> Fake fish leve school -> Fake fish non-school -> Spearfish

Iron lake has two spearfishing nodes, so it's easier to just use them both. The method I used was:

Spearfish -> cast and cancel in water nearby -> run to other spearfishing node -> spearfish -> cast and cancel in water nearby.

Once you do that the first spearfishing node resets. It's basically the same as yours, but lets you use both spearfishing nodes.

Well the point is it cuts down on a lot of running time as the distance from one spearfish node to the other is a fair way, so it is faster.

I prefer not chewing up my leve allowances, so I went with just running between the two schools with a cast in the lake between.

This doesnt work all the time anymore. I know people have said thats how they've done it, but I can personally attest it not working, and so can a few others. I did a leve mothod, though different from Magnesium's.
