Right now almost everyone is doing Atomos. You're not gonna find much help for ANYTHING right now.

i hear your complaint yes its a bish to solo right now but it will be fixed in 2.0 and the linkshell thing is fairly easy man i was invited to a ls when i started at lv5 had no idea wtf i was doing lol. but yeah your lv31? right you never stoped and talked to random people? not 1? or 2? or 10? hell i first started i was trying to talk to anyone and everyone asking how to do this or that lol eventually a good hearted person ingame invited me to their 20 man ls full of some generous people willing to help explain anything i mean anything i had a question about + quests + they literaly stoped me from what i was doing crafted me a full set of equipment and jewlry be4 sending me out any further i eventually ran into 2 people running around killing everything in sight and was invited to a party we ran around killing and talking for god id say 3 or 4 hours and well 1 of the people names keiser is one of my main lvling partners and now good friend of mine you complaining about not having anyone to help you? when you was in town running around when you started you didnt ask anyone for help or attempt to talk to anyone?

but seriously saying you couldn't find someone to help you isnt a legitimate complaint .... if you attempted to find a linkshell or friends in your early lvls and not thinking oh i might need some friends later on ingame to help me its kind of your own falt man sorry to be a dick about it

I take it you only read my OP and thats it. Pretty sure I said in a few other spots that I do multiplayer in this, and that I was in a good link shell during 1.0 launch and for a few months.. I quit and just came back a few days ago after a long long log break. There is no way in hell I could have gone that far without talking to anyone lol. And if I didn't associate people and was some type of cave troll why the hell would I be here in the forums lol. I was just pissed off this morning after thinking about how much time I wasted lastnight with that 1 simple quest. this topic has gone further then I really intended or expected lol. I am still looking for a LS. Everyone from my last LS has quit , lost interest or waiting for ARR I guess. because none of the 19 have signed in :\

Oh and I just got to snipe an atomos a little bit ago! got cluster and anima was pretty sweet lol

you can try address your complaint in more polite way.

e.g:

I need to complete my GC quest, I shouted in Grid but no one reply. Is there any things that I should do?

I play solo and all it took was a single tell in Uldah for someone to offer their help with that quest.

I'm in with OP I hate how we have to shout/look for enough people for hours just to DO something not to mention getting it done
even if FF XIV is meant for grouping they should never leave solo play cos not everyone have 24/7 to play this game
I think this is the reason why FF XIV never get new players to play
without group and you cant do anything thats the reason most people quit

And don't try to preach to me about MMO either... Your complaining, Not hard to find people for the multiplayer content, solo content is easy to solo as long as your on the right job for the solo content. And For me this game has given me years of enjoyable content; just people complain about grass and they cant find their own party...

If it is this hard to find someone to do these quests with, then I fear you are going to be very very sad when it comes to finding people to do end game with.

I suggest you either re-think your approach to finding people to do content with (this is a major aspect of final fantasy), or hope that Content Manager in 2.0 will work well for you.
