I mean ultimately it doesn't matter whether Reaper is gauge-starved and Dancer is gauge-overcapping or vice versa.
That being said, thematically only the current alignment fits:
* Reaper is a job where the idea of being hungry, always hungry, always wanting more does fit.
* Dancer is only overcapping due to the gauge fed by the players they're buffing, which again, is thematically fitting.
If one were to invert those, I'm not even sure how it'd work. Although I could see a mechanicaly change where Dancer generates gauge, and randomly procs losing gauge, feeding it to their dance partner, buffing them momentarily (say the buff oscillates between 3% and 7% based on how frequently one is proccing a gauge-feed, or maybe each proc the entire gauge is drained and the buff adjusts based on the amount of gauge fed). Meanwhile an overcapping Reaper would be weird (assuming it's proc-based since you wanted them to swap), since they got no proper way to bleed extra gauge.
Yeah fully agreed with that. It's like the one element where one needs to keep the brain on for, and of course this means people want to get it removed. xD
