This is such a strange comment to me. If someone is not doing their job properly, when did it become wrong to not want them dismissed? 14 is a customer service based product. While the devs might have more technical skills then say a waiter. If they fail to continuously to deliver for customers companies need to look to move on. Keeping people who are performing poorly at their jobs creates problems on multiple levels. Customer is unhappy, employer isn't happy, and the employee can't be enjoying doing a poor job and then getting that fact thrown back at them by the first two.
