We are actually getting a Mobile FF14 ? WHAT!?

So instead of financing the game, SE uses our money to make a mobile version of the game no one asked for..
In the meantime Viera and Hrothgar still can't wear full gear.

Yoshi does like to have his fingers in a lot of pies...I wish they would concentrate on fixing all the problems the game now has. If he is busy sorting all this bs crap out then no wonder the game has gone down the toilet. I mean we have asked for so long for a new CC and other things. Dawntrail has been the worst expansion for me and it had one shit hairstyle?

Now we hear about this and he is sat there all proud but we have nothing given...I remember we used to be given so much more the next one will be our sub price increasing >.<

sad thing is that this is / was probably a good idea. Mobile cash out a lot... But since we got a 4 month delay patch, no real PvE upgrade, a lot a problem of job design ... etc

It has been 6 years since since some of the core gameplay game change, 3years since endwalker 6.0 (for most known has the last good entry for msq)... come on Yoshida... wtf you doin

FFXIV is becoming really unpleasant this day if it was not for the friends we play with...

Not be the harbinger of bad news but it seems that SE is seeing the constant decline of FF14 as a sign that the main game is on the way out. So they want to ensure everything is milked to the fullest potential until it finally completely dies out.

No prosperous game ever did a Mobile version unless it was dying and they wanted to get as many funds as possible for their next title.

I think rather this is just the tax we get for how badly they managed FF7 Rebirth and FF16 not getting enough sales due to the PS5 exclusivity deal. Or the NFT Symbiogenesis thing not working out, or their cryptocurrency investments going nowhere. They're trying to use FF14's popularity to milk more money out of that loss.

Just speculation here though.

Good. This is what all the die hard fans wanted when they told others to vote with their wallet and unsub instead of giving feedback. Time for them to loosen their purse strings to make up for the losses.

If the game succeeds then they will put more ressources into FF14 Mobile. And maybe FF14 Online gets less.
