Out of context, now I know you are useless.

So it's not MS. It's just their xbox team then.
Regardless, this still doesn't change the fact the playerbase wanted xbox as a platform which is why SE did it in the first place. When it was first brought up years ago Yoshi P wasn't fond of the idea because of how much fussier the xbox crew are about things. I've played this game since 2.0's launch back in 2013 and I don't recall Sony ever really holding the game itself back by vetting.
So again, how is this SE's fault when they gave players what they wanted?
"Gave players what they wanted" is a strong statement. The vast majority of the players base isn't on Xbox so don't care if it ever went to Xbox so to suggest "the players" as a whole or even majority wanted it on Xbox is simply not correct.
Also, yes, it's simply things that get onto Xbox or PS that get that kind of vetting. Given PS IS Sony any updates make it through to PS without a hitch, Xbox presents a different set of issues as we are seeing.
"Emergency"
If it's not correct in any semblance then why did Yoshi P, who was opposed to the idea, cave in and do it? It may not have been a majority, but it certainly wasn't some small minority. It was clearly a sizeable number of people to get him to do it. So, unfortunately, you are the incorrect one on that statement.
