Please note the "Used to" like I said before the materia jumped to high prices you could find the weapons for a few mill pre-slotted.

This was back when it would cost maybe ~1-2 mill to get all the resources and materia some people were more than happy to double their investment considering the market for the items was unknown at the time.

After recently going 1/10 on double melded T4 felt trousers I've decided that trying to beat the random number generator on relic weapons is too much of hassle.

I'll just farm 15-20m and buy it pre-melded.

Just failed my 12th attempt to dlble meld. 17.5-18% only each times.

Is the % indication at least slightly accurate? If a Rep. tells me it is for sure i suppose i'll just have to curse my luck

0/2 attempts here. Are melding odds better if you're using HQ weapons?

Yes they are, but the one time i had one, it failed anyway, but you'll get only a few more %.

There is absolutely no justification for TWO classes to share the same extremely rare materia for their relic (particularly when other classes have no competition for their materia OR use very cheap materia).

SE should either:

A) Make Def materia meldable to weap and then make PLD weap require that instead, or..
B) Increase the odds of Heaven Eye IV.

All this amateur economy 101 talk is irrelevant and detracts from the real issue at hand: Two classes have relics which are statistically significantly harder to acquire than everyone else's. This is, frankly, head-scratchingly stupid design.

So much of this.

You have 20 over T4 Heaven's Eye on the list, how could this consider Rare? Obviously consumer 'willing' to buy @ this price.
