It seems at this point the only thing keeping square enix afloat is ff14 and the only thing able to offset any failure the company releases.

Probably because the financials don't look good and shows only the mmo and mobile divisions is making profits. Which doesn't look good for the rest of the divisions and company as a whole when only 1 division out of all of them is making profits.
