It always boils down to what you would like to play, i picked Miqo'te when i first started to play ( 2020) all thanks to their story. I loved it, it clicked for me.
My advice is think about it try around and go with what your heart tells you :)

It's your choice really. I'll never fanta from miqo because that's what I enjoy but I do sometimes feel like I'm stuck in a sea of other miqos. I like cats, I think cattitudes are well fitting, and I guess a lot of other people do too. Not trying to win a popularity contest and besides, I'm pretty basic irl, I can handle being basic in an online game.
