2.0 is promising too much!!

Only read the OP, so I apologize if this notion has already been presented:

2.0 isn't promising too much. Some players are just expecting too much.

dont forget that not all features will be at 2.0, lots of them will come in patchs after that.

First i want a new stable client and server. Not a client full of things and bugged like a nest.

What Yoshi P and the crew are doing is monumental, but most of it is backroom reworking. Those who are wise and took the time to read the outline and not expect much more than that, will be happy when the patch comes.

There is obviously going to be new content. But it's not all going to come out simultaneously. It would be a bad idea even.

there -will- be a level cap increase. When is uncertain, but we knew since the beginning of the game that it wasn't going to stay at 50 forever.

Some sketch they showed to us is a bit different in game except equipment, monster, detailing. So, i don't expect too much for 2.0 for this year.. maybe 1 or 2 years again XIV will be better. Oh yea, i've said it (and this is my assumption) before on the other thread, at this moment they don't have enough people to work on XIV's content and world. *cheers* :p

My 2 Cents...

Patches alone are heading in the right direction. Dev's listening to majority of playerbase.

New content is really great with only 1/3 to 1/2 the team working on it.

Post 2.0 - Full team working on the game. Content developed faster. Fun Fun Fun.

If 2.0 is even half as good as the game is now compared to release day, then I'll be happy.
