Ok so looks like people are still taking advantage and getting multiple houses.

well, on Materia datacentre there are retainers of a SAME name selling multiple Gingerbread house skins on every world. Completely not Goblet ward 2 endeavor, nooo, not at all!!!!

It's not hard for someone to make/buy house skins on another world in another data center then transfer a character with the skins to Materia so Materia players will have access.

You could also do it if you wanted.

I wont be getting a set for my house, but they dont bother me near as much as the paissa house. That thing is an absolute eyesore.

If it's an RMTer, it does seem weird: why snag all the same plots, with the same FC tags every time? That would increase the odds of them getting caught for their illegal activity, no?

Its most likely that those are not the houses they will sell, they are only taken up to prevent players from getting a house. And the houses they have in regular areas are the ones they will sell instead. By making clear that those houses are essentialy locked forever, it adds a part of desperation to players, which is again a way to push those people from buying with RMT. And as those houses are never involved in RMT directly, there is no actual proof they are (its even very likely that they on paper are completely diffirent people, as RMT traders obviously will use fake information to avoid getting caught irl).

And then there is the part where some people just want to brag and anoy others. For some people having many accounts doesnt matter as they have enough anyway.

by the time they finally fix the 0 bug on the 16th . i bet they would be buying up the rest of the wards

sure. Let me level up a char to lvl15+ so i can have 2 retainers, on every Materia world. I will name them all the same. Then lemme make say 50 of every size of shirogane, gingerbread and cafeteria walls (tho there's more) some DC elsewhere and then transfer. then let me dump 5-10 of each on every world using my same-name retainers. when I sell them all, scoop all the gil and buy every glam and mount in the game and RMT the vast amount that got left. Sounds about right?

I still think if people are this blatant, it'd be perfectly within SE's rights to just hand out blanket bans.
