A PLD and a WAR in the same fight and the PLD was tanking while the WAR was on crowd control?! WHAT SORCERY IS THIS!?

Wait what? I don't care why they made the video. It proved it can be done with any job, and that means we can clear it with the jobs we enjoy playing. I don't understand why you brought up the reason they made the video like it contradicts what I said.... ._.?

That just show that if ppl know how to play their classes well, they can do it. The problem is, they don't. If you form a party randomly , chances you pull it out like in the video are pretty slim. The way I see and experienced , most get owned for AF because they lack coordination to take feathers out.

Most parties are trying to skip or reduce the length of phase 2 (and hell, phase 3...) by committing as much DPS on Garuda during that part. These guys didn't bother doing that because they clearly survived phase 2 very well.

When my group did Garuda last night...we took down the plumes within 1-2 seconds...but still die to AB taking 3.5k damage and I can't figure out what we are doing wrong =( I will try this though thank you very much for your responses :)

Judging by the video, they couldn't have possibly taken out all the plumes they did in 1-2 seconds. Is it possible your group missed some plumes scattered across the battlefield?

The video seemed to show plumes all over the place, requiring some run around.

Yeah that is how it seemed in that video >< With my group last night there was maybe 1-2 but the BRD took it out very fast...when she does double plumes before her AB though that is where it was big of a challenge for us to manage to take them all down. The rocks were all up..but like the top parts were missing lol..happens everytime...so frustrating :(

You need to damage her quickly. Her warping is just as damaging as missing the plumes. If she was warping more than like 3 times then thats why you were taking so much damage. Anything after that and its damn near unsurvivable even if you don't miss any of the plumes.
