The Great Healer Exodus.
Is what my friends called it in Crystal.

I was curious and looked for the prices.
And well, apparently they don't even want any Gil, not even for the easy stuff. Everything is about RMT.
Your examples in earlier posts look like classic RMT, but the kicker is there needs to be proof, which would require SE to take action like a sting operation. This is probably your strongest ToS point, but even then it's really shaky.
This is also promising, but what SE means here is like "Buy Coca Cola!", or "Get Nord VPN!" advertisements. There is no problem with like "WTS blah blah" or "WTB blah blah" if not spammed in chat.
Arguably party finder is not meant for what they're doing, and I'd agree with you, but it's possible for a legit mercenary group to be "Looking for a party member" who happens to be paying gil for some clear.
This is also something that would need advanced work by SE detecting IPs or some such. Like, say I'm a very capable player whose Alexander Ultimate group fell apart. Rather than relearning everything I could theoretically pay gil to a group I know for them to do a run with me.
My point is, innocent until proven guilty. Though it would be nice if SE offered a bounty or something. Like, let US do string operations and provide screen shots etc for some nominal reward.
One thing to keep in mind is that even back in the days of FFXI SE appeared to be slow in removing a number of RMTs. One of the reasons for this is their investigations normally include them attempting to find all other associated accounts with the one reported. This has in the past resulted in players that purchased gil or services from RMTs to get banned as well.
I was talking about the abuse of the PF for it.
They advertise something that is impossible without breaking this rule 3.1.
And to just avoid different phrasing they should just ban every advertising like that.
Just get it out of sight for the majority of player so that they don't start to think that "buying carry's" is valid and without a punish.
But right now they seem to not care about carry runs at all, maybe because it is not so common in JP.
Thats also the reason why I keep writing in here and "fight" gainst the carry runs.
Most if not all of these carry runs listings seen in game are done using alts accounts that can easily be thrown away. Deleting these is about the same as trying to remove unwanted weeds from your garden or yard by only pulling off some of the flowers or leaves. It's an exercise in futility. In order to be effective they need to get at the root of the issue or pull out enough of the main body that the rest will wither and die. As for the PF RMT ad postings part of that would probably be alleviated if they didn't allow PF's to be made or joined by people that do not meet the requirements. This would then require people to meet level and ilvl requirements to open a PF for an endgame activity and also knock out some of this ad post things by people saying min ilvl 900 to advertise their FC or that they want people for a static.
Not a bad idea, but PF is a valid place to do mercenary work for gil. And if my party of 7 is looking for 1 more to do something with, I feel that’s also a valid use.
A better way would be to only allow PF entries to be made at the iLVL the character making the entry has (or lower). So like my PLD can only make 510 or lower entries. This would force a geared character to make the entry at risk of ban if RMT is found. I mean I’ve seen this idea mentioned several times above and it’s pretty solid.
In addition I would like to see a sort of job postings board or services offered board where people can basically do a WTS/WTB entry entirely outside of PF, but we all know RMT will completely overtake that…so we just can’t have nice things.
the problem of carry runs its not inside the game, its about human nature. there are people that if they can take shortcut in something, they will do so. Grey Market.
See for example Brazil: games are really expensive its more than 10% of minimum salary.
so the hackers break a code of game, make a pirate version of game, with cut 50% less or more of the original game price and sell. By other hand, today many players that bought pirate versions of game, now play original games in their console. Without Grey Market in Brasil, videogames wouldn't be so popular and propably many would never know the existence of so many fantastic games.
Why? Cause Brazil product tax its the highest of the world. minimum salary of Brazil: 1500 reais. Sugested price of a ps5: 4800 reais (its sugested, theyr sell now 3x price of it)
whats you can do with 1500?: you barely buy food for a family of 4, and will not have money to pay a rent of a house.
and wtf this has about carry run? i dont know either, i tought about market, services a people willing to pay for it, and this came to my mind, really sorry!
