Curved ultra wide is pretty immersive if you setup a minimal HUD layout. Put a trigger macro in your hotbar to swap between combat mode and immersive mode. In immersive mode, just remove almost all HUD elements, other than the macro that puts you back in combat mode, a mount, and some necessities (like minimap and duty list). Many cutscenes have blackboxes that make you go back to 16:9, but exploring the world is very nice on ultra wide. If you raid you also get what is basically a legal zoomhack too lol.

I run 2:1 ratio windowed and it does squash vertically a bit imo.
