Doxxers using lodestone and fflogs to harass people

They won’t let you hide your profile for the same reason you want to be protected. If the aggressor can hide themselves then they can go on to terrorize others. There have been instances of people screwing over their FC and name changing/server hopping to do it to someone else. Since your player ID is unique you can always be tracked down and others in the community can get the word out about bad characters to prevent others from being hurt as well.

A character you play in a game and information about that character is not personal information. There's no reason for it to be hidden since the information has nothing to do with a legal real person.

That you, a legal real person, plays a specific game using a specific character could be considered personal information under certain circumstances. It's your responsibility to decide if you should share that information with others. Most of the time, it's probably not a good idea. Do others really need to know that information? No, they don't. If it's for purposes of game discussion, all they need to know is that you play and not what your character's name is.

Since the Lodestone does not disclose any information about you the legal real person when your character's profile is viewed, there is no privacy breach. We have no way to connect your character with your legal real person by visiting Lodestone unless you voluntarily and intentionally place that information into a character profile comment, which you should never do.

The Lodestone does not need to be changed because the Lodestone is not causing any problems. Any issues you're experiencing are because of your actions.

They are not "that" strict and in truth only thing can really do is just wait it out and deal with the ingame harassment without resorting to reports and crap cause that will bleed into. If people harass them and admins take notice they may take action but then it will go into private groups and the cycle will continue.

They are in a weird spot cause this was brought on by their neurotic behavior and probably due to said behavior they will not be able to let this go thus they will forever going down this rabbit hold until one side gets bored. Which from experience if content can be found then boredom will take time.

How would they obtain personal information if you didn't put it out there to begin with?

Your character is not your private data. You don't own your character; not their design, not their name, not the storage they are kept on, and not the page that their information is displayed on on the Lodestone. If somebody is able to dox you through FFXIV, it's because they already knew you and made those manual connections themselves, that or they hacked into SE's server to get client financial information and if that happened SE has a *lot* more problems than a single person getting doxxed.

You posted this, you made yourself a target, you clearly love the attention.

In no way defending their antisemitism or ableism, but if you're going to keep using VPNs to work around bans, you really are asking for all the attention they can give you.

Dealing with Kiwifarms is an almost literal example of 'stop feeding the troll'. They latch on to things they find hilarious or 'exceptional' enough to keep an eye on for laughs. Stop giving them what they want, and inevitably they will move on to whatever other Phil Burnell or Jordie Jordan is waiting to be discovered.
