But that's part of it. FFXIV wouldn't exist without SE and its size as a studio. It wouldn't exist on its own so it only makes sense that its money goes to SE and perhaps other projects. They aren't hurting for money but they have to keep a certain profit margin to justify its existence, a profit margin that won't be satisfied with sub cost only (in the future) as inflation continuous.

Damn, that sucks. I was just thinking that I wanted more spriggan related stuff in game as they're probably my favourite monster/creature design in 14. And after seeing Meoni's video on it, it's a gorgeous mount with tons of personality and detail. I'd love to have it.. but there's no way I'm paying anywhere near that price for it. I actually quite like one of the new dances as well but, again, it's just not worth the stupid price they're asking for it.

Oh well, maybe when there's a big sale. Oh wait, they don't do big sales anymore.

Why is this a big deal that it's there? I never seen this mount in the game before.. so to me it's just like all the mounts the mogstore team - who is completely different team then the content team mind you- So what's the big deal? Does the event tease this mount or something? Why are people freaking out over this?

Then consider that the mount is an additional, optional, glamour peice. Just like everything else in the store.

Some people can't be happy that people with money to burn are pandered to.

And they overlook all that they are given in game overall. We got a new mogstation mount this patch, we got a new in game mount. Granted you gotta work for the one in game but hey- it's there.

This is not a case of releasing 5 mogstation mounts for 1 in game or none.

I think it is because the mount is easter themed so people think it should be part of the event. If I am inferring this correctly. I didn't read anything but the last page.

That's weird, i cannot remember being forced by SE to pay for any extra retainer. Same for the OPTIONAL mounts (which are just a few compared to all the ones already available for us to obtain for free)

If that's the case then I dunno. The store team most likely made this mount just for that if thats the case. People need to remember the team behind the store doesn't need to listen to YP. YP has no control over that dept. This is nothing new from what I'm seeing. Meanwhile, those dances go with the beat of the song - Zoo- by hocus pocus. Listen to it while using the dance. It fits so much lol.

Seasonal Event Items are typically 1-shot. You have your chance to get it in game for free if you were there for the event.
Most games once its over, its over, and you missed your chance if you wernt there. I think thats fair enough even if it sucks and you want it. But in this game while sometimes its expensive, you have a chance to get it in a cash shop after a time. Id say thats pretty generous.

That, and even if I am inferring the complaints wrong, and this was a previous seasonal mount. They have been doing that for literally years, so I don't know why anyone would complain if that was the case either.

Rofl, I think that would bother me more then them selling the items Wholesale after a period of time.
