Honestly Paladin, i tried to like him but just cant.
I dont like the lack of any form of sustain, i dont like 2 damage windows managing.
I hate the spells aestethics and managing dot is tedious too, much more than warrior storm eye.

Tried dragoon coz of the rad garo set , I absolutely can't keep going, it feels clunky. And its not as flashy as other classes. Switched to SAM as melee dps now,feels so fluid.
Used to be MCH Then after the 5.0 changes I'm loving it, one of my fave jobs now.
Now though SMN/SCH I don't know what they did to SMN but for me it's suddenly like counting to 20,000 using only primes while standing on one foot with a Styrofoam cup of hot coffee on your head. MNK, Ninja are probably next Then there is DRK which I like but don't care for the story (which I also like) But it's just not how I see my WoL so it doesn't click with me.
Bard I'm in the air about. Mostly I just hate managing DoTs and using said Dots in AoE.
Astro: Once I start tunnel healing, I completely forget that I have cards to shuffle through and apply correctly.
Mnk: I just...I don't know, it just doesn't feel right to me.
Bard (post 5.0): What SE did to Bard was just cruel and mean. You don't gimp a job just because you couldn't figure out what to do with a new one and decide to give it all the good stuff the old job had. That's messed up.
Summoner, for some reason after 3.0 the rotation does not make sense to me, too many skills available at the same time and even when I practice and just feel it clunky.
Blm. Figuring out the stacks then the mp stuff was weird.
Pre-shb Sch. Was waaay to complicated for me but shb made it easier to learn so I’m thankful for that.
Ast. Took me till 4.5 to learn how to ast. Spells just did not click with me. Remembering what each card did and how it affected spread was also daunting.
I was an old MNK main back in SB. I LOVED the Tornado Kick rotation. It made great use out of an otherwise useless skill that was only viable right before downtime.
Now it's useless and completely situational again along with, what, 2 other skills??? I'd really like for SE to decide on where the want to go with MNK and it seems like they have a vague idea with the removal of the RoF drawback, but I can't stand having abilities in my kit that I can't use frequently unless very circumstantial conditions are met.
So, I'm sticking with DRG as my main DPS class.
Now after reading everyone elses posts...
Since I like being a range and not too fond of melee to begin with.
I'll change up my first post and say
SMN/RDM.
SMN: I don't like how they are, period. They're getting on the right foot but remove Egi's and replace with actual summons like Bahamut/Phoenix.
RDM: I never liked RDM in any FF game, and this one is too BD Easy and boring. :/ I don't like the random fencing crap either.
It's nice and cool, but it's just...after I'ma range, I'm temp melee and it's kinda dumb lol.
Also -Insert Salty AST complaint-
It's the amount of positional you have to do at every turn. I don't even bother with DRG and there like what? 2 moves? Lol.
MNK should be one of the highest DPS charts from the amount of movement needed to be really good if they aren't already.
It gets tiresome. Fun job though, animations are fun.

I read the guides, watch videos, haunt people's logs, following all of the same rotations and timings and come out mediocre. It doesn't stop me from playing the job. I'm just not sure what exactly it is that I just seem to fail to grasp.
