That's cute. How about 160 with everything maxed at 2560x1080? Consoles will get there someday (lol).

Believe me, I'm not here to be cute. Just honest :) I'll keep enjoying my game :D
Why does this even matter? Who cares if players play FFXIV on the PS4, the PS4 Pro, a PC, or a Mac? People get bent out of shape about everything nowadays.
I care more about people not getting hit by easy mechs. :/

My take:
Platform used is mostly irrelevant to performance in high-end content. I cleared Coils and Deltascape Savage on PS4, and have purple parses on various other content. My lack of raiding is more because of life circumstance (several Savage tiers) or lack of skill (Ultimate), not deficiency in platform.
PC loads faster, can look a LOT better, and lets you take your own logs. All of which, especially the last, has me seriously considering rebuying the game on PC, though I'd still play using a controller. The former two depend on PC specs, but my laptop could max out the graphical quality in the ShB benchmark and still score ~5000. I can't tell what PS4 runs: my guess would be the defaults unless someone knows for certain.
As for framerate, it's ultimately whatever to me. 30 FPS is kinda clunky, yeah, but anything significantly above 60 makes me oddly uncomfortable. I also play a lot of fighting games, where you need to run the game on whatever its arcade settings are because move data is tied to the frames (this affects FF14 not at all, but it is an example of how the ability to uncap framerate isn't always a strict benefit). That PC offers it is a nice bonus, but it's not something that makes or breaks the play experience on PS4 to me and I think many others feel the same.
Some people don't need cutting edge graphical verisimilitude to enjoy their games. Some people do. Ultimately playing on console shouldn't be cause to mock someone, because it doesn't impact raid performance to a significant degree.
Meanwhile they've had to drop various PC specs throughout the years and I'm here still on the same PS4 from 6 years ago, never once having to upgrade or tinker with my machine to be able to continue playing. Pretty good investment if you ask me. But like most people have said, who cares?
PC good.
PS4 good.
The only people who make a big deal about it are irritating people who just want to argue.
If you're playing on PS4 but want to move to PC eventually but don't have the money, there are baby steps you can take to help you get there. The biggest one is to go out and buy yourself a Solid State Drive. You can use it in your PS4 until you can get the parts for a new PC. Even if you buy the PC pre-made you can replace the HD with an SSD (or keep both and run the OS/game on the SSD.) $100 can get you a 1TB one.
I did this back on PS3. It improved my load times to faster than ps4s. Going from 45 second idyllshire load times to 15 was amazing. Then I moved it to my PS4. From 15 down to 5. Faster than some PCs. Now its 2-3 seconds on my PC for most map changes.
If you want a parser in game until then and raid ask a raid buddy to share his ACT with you. If you google something like "How to share your Parse live for PS4 party members (Static members.)" and use that or any of the things mentioned in the comments, you'll have a working ACT parser on your phone while you raid. The Mopi Mopi guide in the comments is the best looking. I won't link anything cuz I don't want banned. :c
